As has been the case with many things the KRPM does, they use backwards logic, case in point the New and discriminatory homeowner discount program.
In the past all homeowners who owned a condo in a building managed by Keystone Resort Property Management, received several discounts on over priced food and merchandise in the resort. Recently though Keystone Resort Property Management has changed this program to exclude all owners who dare use an outside property management company. Most interesting of all is that Keystone Resort Property Management is still allowing owners who do not rent through any management company to receive the discounts. This brings up serious anti-competitive issues.
As usual instead of trying to make their offering more positive and competitive with other companies like Summit County Mountain Retreats, they have taken the poor strategic move to penalize and alienate many owners.
Some owners consider this new policy a slap in the face and have even suggested removing Keystone Resort Property Management from its duties as building manager in several associations.
Way to go Keystone Resort Property Management! Thanks for showing your true colors once again. You are the best advertising for companies like Summit County Mountain Retreats.
Here is what Summit County Mountain Retreats is doing to add value to our services. In addition to only paying 9.75% commission, we started our own discount program. Mountain View Sports regular prices are already reasonable and with a 25% discount you cannot find a better deal. Serenity Day Spa is offering a 10% on all spa services and products. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is offering a 10% discount and we are working on several other partnerships with independent businesses in the area.
