This non-competitive 5k caps a ten-week program for girls in third through fifth grade. The course stays relatively flat and opens up views of Dillon Reservoir, Buffalo Mountain, and Mount Royal. Registration is open to the public, so anyone can run alongside the participants.

Businesses along Main Street hand out candy while a 22-foot trackless train runs free rides every 15 minutes from the Historic Park. The Summit County Animal Shelter kicks things off at 5:00 PM with a costumed dog parade. Registration is not required and spare dog costumes are available.

Hundreds of Santas run down Main Street, costumed dogs parade ahead of them, and kids take on the Children's Moose March. At 5:00 PM the town flips on 250,000 LED lights across 11.2 miles of Main Street. Proceeds support Carriage House Early Learning Center.

Breckenridge has spent six decades throwing a party for Ullr, the Norse god of snow, in hopes of a deep season. Put on a Viking helmet for the Main Street parade, then join the Breckenridge Distillery's attempt at the world's longest Shotski. Float registration closes in mid-December.
