We had an absolutely wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend! The location is perfect, walkable to River Run, yet surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes you feel like you're tucked away in the mountains.
This home truly feels like they thought of everything. From the incredible kitchen, game room, beautiful patio and fire pit, to the hiking path right behind the house, the amazing sunsets, and Sonos speakers throughout the home, every part of our stay was special. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy Keystone.
What made our experience even better was Adam's hospitality. After accidentally leaving behind a precious item, he went above and beyond to help locate it and get it back to me. That kind of care and customer service is rare and so appreciated.
This is absolutely a home we will be returning to and recommending to our family and friends. We will definitely be looking at all of Adam's properties for our future stays!

Yes, the ski slopes were extremely accessible, and shops were conveniently close by. We loved how easy it was to get from the property to the lifts—just a short walk, and we were on the slopes in minutes. The location couldn’t be better for skiers of all levels. After a full day on the mountain, it was great having restaurants, cafés, and shops just a few steps away. Everything we needed—gear rental, groceries, dining—was right there. It made our stay smooth, relaxing, and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for its unbeatable location and convenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great house to host another Friendsgiving event. There was plenty of space for all the guests - we especially loved the covered patio with fire pit and the game room in the basement. Leading up to our stay, Summit County Mountain Retreats was responsive and went above and beyond with questions, concerns and general communications - expected nothing less from them which is why we have come back to them multiple years for our trip. Even when there were some unexpected plumbing issues, they had a plumber come evaluate on the weekend. Not sure if it’s the property having low water pressure throughout the home but it was a bummer that we had to limit which washrooms to use as certain toilets didn’t work properly. Other than the plumbing everything else was exceptional!

Check in was super easy and management communication was great. Says it sleeps 12 with a pull out trundle bed but there was no trundle bed. Only sleeps 11 comfortably. Hot tub says fits 12. Only fits 4 comfortably. Overall would book again. The basement is a great entertainment area.

The house was super clean and well stocked. The location is near Breck and Frisco making it convenient for day trips into these towns. If you're looking for leap peeping. This is the place. Easy to use gas firepit in the back makes for a perfect ambiance among the changing leaves. Would definitely stay here again.

We were able to make use of the early check-in which was helpful since we arrived in Keystone earlier than planned. We had a group of 9 guys and all had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone. We had a blast at the house (summer time). It is fairly secluded and has great views from the living room and outdoor spaces. The entertainment areas are also great! The kitchen had everything you could imagine for cooking for a large group. The beds were also very comfortable and we all got great sleep. We will be staying here again for sure!

Our group of 6 adults & 4 kids fit perfectly in this stunning mountain retreat! We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in during our mountain retreat. The view is gorgeous! The house did not disappoint and is located in a secluded area just minutes from the closets lifts. The lifts are technically ’walkable’ but that’s subjective. I will tell you that I would drive as parking is free. Only slight negative is the cleaning crew for the rental was 30 minutes behind schedule so we had to awkwardly wait until they were done. Other than that no complaints!! You’ll love this vacation rental.

The garage door keypad was hit or miss, but the owners provide you with an alternative to enter. Only downside was Check out time was too early. I’d make it 11:00 am. We absolutely loved our time at this property! The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the ping pong/pinball/foosball area was a ton of fun. The land around the property was absolutely GORGEOUS, and we found some amazing hiking (and aspens) just outside the front door! The only reason it wasn't all 5s was because the whole-house media system was down (though it seems like it would have been quite a nice system), and check-in was a bit later than we were hoping for. But the management company was very quick to respond to our questions/requests, and we had an absolutely wonderful time overall!

This home is spacious and beautiful! We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area on a damp evening after a storm. The lighting and ceiling heaters keep it cozy and comfortable on a cool evening. We reported an issue with the water pump and management was quick to respond. We would highly recommend!

The house was not only well-appointed and very clean, but had a cozy and comfortable despite its size. The kitchen was a highlight and had everything one needs to cook and entertain in style. We spent many a cool night on the patio sitting around the gas firepit and it was also a peaceful place for morning coffee looking down the valley. And when the firepit wouldn't ignite one morning, the management company responded immediately and had it going that afternoon. With exceptional service and first-class lodging, I highly recommend this home.

Stayed here for a group golf trip with my friends. House is fantastic and very well equipped. The game room was the biggest hit of the weekend. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The only negative, If you can call it a negative is the fire pit didn’t work. My friends and I had planned on relaxing outside by the fire and it simply didn’t work , even after someone came out and tried to get it to work. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

This house was beyond beautiful and incredibly well stocked. Perfect for a spring ski weekend. The water shut off at one point, but the rental company was extremely responsive and had it on within an hour. The only other problem was that the outdoor fire pit did not work- again, the company was very responsive and sent someone to fix it, but it stopped working again soon after. Other than that, the stay was fantastic. We look forward to coming back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had been watching this property for the past 2-3 years. We finally decided to book, and it didnt dissapoint. Just one thing wasnt perfect: The hot tub "issue". It worked perfectly the first 2 days, but afterwards it wasnt heating correctly. We had to call numerous times, we did get someone to come over on various occations, but the issue was never fixed. So the last days we didnt get to use it as we wished. We later found out, that they had plans to get a new one, so we figured they knew this hot tub had problems. With THAT SAID: The house is a DREAM! Everything else was perfect! The game room is as cool as the pictures! The house is beautifull, the views of the mountain are incredible, even at night; since it overlooks the night skiing mountain! Its just a 3 minute drive to the Ski parking lot (you could walk if you want, but its tricky with the snow.) The master bedroom/bathroom is so big and sexy, the other rooms are spacious, and the bunkbeds in the dorm room are big, fit for couples too. This is by far the best house we've ever stayed in the mountain. If they already got the new hot tub, this is a no-brainer! An experience of a lifetime!

The downstairs is where we put the kids and they had direct access to the hot tub. We stocked their little kitchenette downstairs with snacks and drinks and they were good to go all week! Talk about a relaxing time for the parents! The outdoor space on the main level was relaxing and quiet. We cooked out every night on the grill and just enjoyed the weather and conversation. No outside interruptions. There is no TV on the main floor, but that made it even more relaxing. We just put on some tunes on our Bluetooth speaker and it was perfect. The kids had the TV all to themselves downstairs. WiFi was available. We stocked up food and drinks in Dillon before we arrived. The beds were comfortable and there is tons of parking. There is a little river just below the house that you can walk down too. There were chipmunks and hummingbirds to watch outside as well. It was a perfect vacation to get away. The fire pit wasn’t working while we were there but we survived! 😂. We fished, we ride UTVs, and rafted. All within 30 minutes of this place. You will not be disappointed in this house.

The highlights included: the game room, master suite steam shower, hot tub with views, privacy, overstocked kitchen, and spectacular deck. House was very clean and very well maintained. It is advertised as having "whole house stereo", but this was not working when we stayed. Did not bother us. Just remember to bring your Bluetooth speakers if you want music anywhere else in the house but the game room. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The double-queen bunks in the basement worked great for our adult group without children, but would be perfect for kids. River Run was an easy walk in the Fall of 8 minutes. Would be a 5 min drive in the winter, or a 10 min walk in the snow. Super close to the action, but very private as well. As always, the SCMR staff was amazing and even sang me Happy Birthday when I checked out. For the location, price, and service, this is the best rental, and company in the valley. Will definitely be back.

It was THE Perfect Mountain Retreat for our Families. The kids loved the basement recreation areas and sleeping together in the giant bunkroom! The hot tub was great and faces West so you can see the entire Valley and enjoy the Colorado sunsets while soaking your muscles from a day of skiing!!The Kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to make a gourmet meal. We cooked and "ate in" together most nights. We even did 'Smores one night on the Fire pit outside on the Patio.All of the rooms in the house are graciously sized including the Bedrooms. We had 2 families staying in the house very comfortably and had a few friends visit for New Years Eve. The Basement kitchen is also fully stocked which makes entertaining a breeze. The Master Bath has another jetted tub and fireplace but the best part was the oversized double Shower with Steam--another Therapeutic amenity in this wonderful home!Lastly, the staff at SCMR was fantastic. They responded very quickly when the HotTub got cold and patiently taught us how to keep it from happening again. The SCMR staff and owners of the property also helped us find a lost item that we had left behind in the house. It's really nice to do business with GOOD people! We highly recommend this awesome home!

Wonderfully secluded mountain house with tons of amenities. Perfect for several families or couples. It feels like your own private lodge with so much room to spread out. There is a great kids area in the basement for watching movies or playing ping pong/foosball/pinball. The kitchen is a chef's dream and there are several dining areas so everyone can gather together for a meal. We really enjoyed the beautiful patio and fire pit as well. The rooms are all very comfortable and there are so many beds that everyone can get a great's night rest. Highly recommend and will return!

The pictures really do not do it justice, it is a truly special property and it made our trip. The views from inside the cabin as well as on the deck from the fire pit are incredible. The kitchen is top notch and the owners vacation here as well so the cabin is stocked with all the little things you never think you will need. If you are looking to impress or if you are wanting a luxurious stay in the mountains this is the place! We are excited to come back!

The size of the house is enormous, we had a group of 5 adults and 4 children and had ample space. The house was very clean and beautifully presented. The kitchen was stunning and had every appliance and kitchenware that you could need. Very well stocked. it was a pleasure to prepare meals in.The bedrooms very large with nice linen and the master room a oasis. The kids loved the bunks down stairs and the entertainment in the basement area. The spa was freshly filled and all amenities were in great working order. The views from the property were stunning and not to far out of town. We had an amazing vacation here and I would defiantly recommend this property to stay at.

This mountain house was the perfect host to our family vacation. We (my husband and 2 boys ages 4 and 6), met my sister and her family of 4 boys (ages 6-12) and our parents. 6 adults and 6 kids. There was ample space for all of us , and the best part was that the kids really had their own "zone" in the basement. When we were in the house, it became a mini vacation for the adults - we really didn't see our kids that much! They LOVED the pin ball machine and foos ball table - for my New York city kids, it was like living in a fun zone! My nephew exclaimed "this is heaven" when he walked in and saw the games and bunk beds. I don't know what the 6 boys did down there, and I don't really want to, but I was SUPER happy they had their own zone so we could keep upstairs civilized ha. It was almost too much fun for them - they didn't want to go skiing in the morning because they wanted to stay and play! They had a great tv area with Netflix which was fun for a family movie night when we were all too tired from skiing to do anything that required any moving around. Everything was fully stocked and in perfect working condition (including wifi and the coffee machine - my personal two most imp things!), and the owner was totally cool. He texted me the days prior and even checked in on text to make sure we were all ok. The house is SUPER close to the slopes and from what we saw the very best of it's size in Keystone. They thought of everything - the garage access is perfect and boots/skis/etc had their place. The hot tub, grill area and surrounding yard was all well kept and fun to explore. Most importantly, the house was CLEAN. We were all really comfortable in this house and would def stay here again. This is my first review on any online forum (not my thing), but really enjoyed it and would recommend to any friends of ours. Thank you for a great easter weekend!

This property and cabin is such a get away. It has everything you'd want for a vacation: kitchens, hot tub, fire places, the patio.... and you can't forget the view. The huge granite kitchen is a chef's dream, with an enormous island. Complete with large dining room and bar stools overlooking the kitchen, which allows a cozy atmosphere for breakfast dining. Breathtaking views of Keystone mountain, bar-b-q huge deck with fire pit, and a jacuzzi to complete the day. An easy walk to the slopes, and the cute village of Keystone. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with our family. We will be back!!!!!!! Yes, I have recommended this property to my friends, and the house was spotless. Clean, new furniture, granite, log stairs cut in half. This house is perfect. There is nothing I would change.

Thank you Jennifer and Randy for sharing your mountain retreat with us! We had such an amazing time that we do not even know where to begin. The drive up from DIA through the mountains was spectacular in itself with all the beautiful snow and historic gold towns which we will have to explore another trip. When we pulled up to your property, the pictures do not give it justice about the true size and scale of the massive log beams, your builder was truly an artisan in the design and build. Everything about our stay was magnificent and we really hated to leave. We will definitely return next year and maybe bring another family with us as we had so much room in your expansive floor plan. Everything in the home is new and in amazing shape! Unlike the furniture in some rentals which are 20 years old and smell! It was like walking into a home from Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous! Future renters please be responsible as we wish to return in the exact condition as it was last week! We were all at awe of the view of Keystone Ski Resort and surrounding mountains from the large bay windows in the Great Room. We enjoyed coffee there every morning by the fire marveling at Gods' Handiwork, simply the best. Kids especially loved the game room in the lower level with the extra large HDTV, foosball, pinball machine, and hot tub. They spent a lot of their time there away from the adults upstairs, except when it was time to eat of course, it worked perfect for everyone! We all came together for meals in the much appreciated and appointed kitchen where we never lacked anything, I wish my kitchen at home was like this! The outside covered deck with the space heaters and gas fireplace is yet another area that we all loved. Listening to the breeze and enjoying a glass of wine was pure bliss and a serenity that is so important to unwind and enjoy our family vacation. Then when things could not have gotten any better, a few mule deer walked in from the forest behind the deck right in front of us and acted like we weren't even there, such a joy to witness! The heated garage was very nice to not have to shovel the heavy snow in the morning from our rental SUV and saved time when trying to get to the slopes. The cost for our week was very reasonable and actually saved us money had we elected to stay at a luxury resort. Hands down far nicer than any hotel in the region! Jen and Randy were great about answering all our questions, super responsive. The kitchen and dining room are perfect for gathering together at the end of a long day for a home cooked meal ... then lounging throughout the house in the great room with a roaring fire, or bouncing between the ping pong table and foosball table! Comfortable beds, clean spacious bathrooms, and we loved the steam shower and fireplace in the master bedroom! We can't wait to return again next winter, or maybe even try out a summer stay!!! My family and I have rented this incredible home several times now and it is nothing short of fabulous. We typically bring another family with us as well. About the house: it is huge and comfortable. The kitchen area that opens into the living room with a fireplace and enormous glass windows is our favorite spot to congregate in the mornings and afternoons. Of course the kids love being downstairs in the fabulous playroom with ping pong, a pinball machine, giant TV, comfortable couches/chairs and their own bunk room and bathroom. The adults get to enjoy one of the multiple bed rooms on the 3rd floor. All incredibly comfortable and well appointed too. There is a lovely outdoor area complete with fire pit and a warm hot tub, perfect for an hour after a day on the slopes. The location is on a hill that overlooks the ski village. It’s about a 2 minute drive to the parking lot and then super easy access to the lifts. We love being able to be part of the action while in the ski village, but then away from the action and in our privacy when desired. You feel like you’re all alone up there. The last time we arrive two elk were hanging out in the driveway!
