Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed during October, before ski season but after summer. This property was perfect for our family of 6. It was very spacious and everyone in our family was able to have their own space. There were two 'living' areas with sofas and televisions, so we could spread out. The property was clean and maintained and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen had everyone we needed to cook and serve what we bought at local stores. The weather was perfect for a walk through downtown Breckenridge and a few hikes around the area. The hot tub and pool at the Dakota lodge was great, although the first time we went was at night and it took us a while to figure out how to get in. The location of this property was outstanding and the scenery out the window along with the path that led right into the mountain forest were great. We will definitely stay here again! One small tweak that would have made the stay easier was if there had been a garage door opener or garage code. Everytime we left in our car, we had the extra step of having someone close the garage door from inside the house and then come out the front door.

This is a truly lovely unit. The photos on the website don't do it justice. The rooms are actually quite bright (vs the dark photo). The huge window enhanced the whole ambiance by bringing the trees inside. It was wonderful to not feel crowded - we had space to spread out and by having a basement level, it gave us all a chance to retreat. This area of Keystone was new to us and it made for lovely walks, as well as walking to River Run. The kitchen is spacious, where 2 or 3 people can be working at the same time. Furniture is very comfortable. Absolutely wonderful to have TWO parking spaces -- in a garage! This made unloading/reloading our belongings so easy. We will definitely consider this unit next year!

Property is a very nice size, including another living area downstairs. Main floor views were enjoyed as were the quiet neighborhood. Nice to have easy walks to trail by the river and to trails along the mountainside. We, 4 adults, really enjoyed our time here. Thank you very much for providing a great place to relax.

We rented several VRBOs in the neighborhood. Transaction was very simple and property as advertised. The property was handicap accessible which allowed us to host a dinner with a brother who is in a wheelchair. Super quiet location.

This property was a great fit for our group. This was a true ski vacation. We skied one day at Keystone, used the shuttle (very easy & reliable. Getting to from Vail & to Breckenridge was a short drive. We cooked all meals in the well stocked kitchen & the dining area was perfect for our group. The heated garage was perfect for storing / drying ski equipment. We used & enjoyed the Access to Dakota Lodge.

Great location for winter skiing and summer hiking! Easy walk to River Run village. Rental company responded immediately to clogged shower drain and had a high chair delivered quickly. Minimal decor which I love. Kitchen could have been stocked a little better but overall a great place to stay and would book again.

Very nice property and management company does a good job of communicating. Beautiful view from the main room to the west for sunset and the lit up trees at night. House could use a few lamps for more peaceful lighting at night, otherwise everything was great.

We had a wonderful time visiting over Thanksgiving with our family of 8. The house was spotless and so convenient to everything. We used the free shuttle to take us to the slopes but also walked the path into town for shopping. The rental company was very accommodating and was easy to work with. With 8 in our family we had plenty of room and the 2 floors gave everyone the space they needed. The kids are already planning our trip for next year. Thanks for such an awesome family vacation.

We would absolutely stay here again! Our kiddos loved that they had kid games available, and super fast ride to the slopes. The only thing we had a hard time with was get the temp in the house to drop and at night it would get incredibly hot. Other than that, it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alders #698 exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning again very soon! As an event planner by profession, I did a lot of research to find the perfect spot for our children's first Colorado ski experience in Feb of 2021. As for many, 2020 was a rough year and as avid snow skiers, we knew we wanted to give our kids a true Colorado snow experience but stay in a place that allowed us all to relax and rewind while feeling safe. Alders hit the mark. And booking with Summit County Mountain Retreats put the cherry on top! Alders was clean, well decorated, very comfortable beds and linens, had all the kitchen amenities, an in-house washer & dryer (with kids this is a necessity), plenty of space for our three kids in tow. Since we pulled them out during virtual school for a 'mental health' getaway, they each enjoyed the space options and wifi to jump into a zoom with their teachers before we headed out for a full day of skiing. Having each room with their private bath was a luxury. The house is located just steps away from the shuttle route - we never used as we opted to park in the family FREE lot near the Mountain House each day which made it easy to load kids up after a long day of ski lessons and back into the car. Only missing item was a private hot tub even though we could use the shared one in village; too far to go with kids. We packed lunches and ate in the designated spots inside Mountain House. We also pre-ordered our groceries from City Market in Dillon on our way into Keystone from Denver. We highly recommend picking up equipment rentals from Mountain View Sports which offers a discount for SCMR renters and kids ski free program for all adult rentals. Their staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We skied 3 days at Keystone and 1 day at Breck. Keystone is the perfect ski resort for families with adventure parks (trails through the trees) and excellent ski lessons. We look forward to returning in the years ahead!

The property was beautiful and spacious. We had everything we needed. It was close to the ski area and very scenic. The heated garage was a plus. We will definitely recommend to others. You have to get used to the radiant heat. A great weekend!

We absolutely loved staying here. The townhome was very easy to get to. You are literally 2 minutes from the Ski Resort itself in Keystone. When you think of a small mountain ski village, this town matches it. We loved that there were two master bedrooms with 2 king size beds. The kids room was perfect. We had 10 people staying in the house ranging from adult to infant. There was enough space to spread out and not be on top of each other. The only complaint we had, there was no vacuum. The downstairs is carpeted and with kids and their crumbs and snacks it was hard to pick up messes. We love that the house included sleds for the kids to play with. Family ended up walked in the backyard and sledding there. Husband built a trail for them. The house was very clean when we arrived. For many of our party it was their first time seeing snow and they truly enjoyed themselves. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful townhouse! Absolutely adored its location, size, and all the amenities. Two master bedrooms were a nice plus. Kids room had great bunk beds. Two living spaces allowed us all to hang out in a more relaxed manner. Easy quick drive to River Run. Totally walkable without skis as well. Well equipped and super clean place. Loved the kitchen and appliances. Two car garage with ski rack was awesome! Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! We are so pleased

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with plenty of space and a great layout for our group with two families. Location is perfect - just a few minutes' drive to the slopes and a short walk to the shuttle stop. Bedding and couches were exceptionally comfortable. The heated garage, radiant heat floors, and instant hot water in the bath/showers was luxurious! There was a slow cooker and blender in the home, which was nice for meal prep (we ate all of our meals at the house). The only down side was that there were very few kitchen basics like food storage, trash bags, coffee filters, salt, pepper, and other pantry staples, so we had to make a run to the the Keystone Gas & Grocery, which charges ridiculous prices on these items. Wouldn't keep me from coming back by any means, but other guests may want to plan to pick those up from a more affordable store in Denver.

There was plenty of space to gather together for meals/games but then separate space for the kids to go play. We appreciated how clean everything was and the heated flooring! Plenty of kitchen items, bathrooms, blankets/pillows, and TVs. Also in great location for the shuttle but we decided to walk to the village instead. Only downside, the added charge for Christmas decor was outrageously high.

If guests do not like the price of these services, they have the choice to not use them or look elsewhere for better price.

Great home in a newer subdivision of keystone. Communication was great, check in/out was a breeze. Beds were comfortable, pillows needed a little help. The kitchen had just about everything one could ask for. There was even a turkey roasting rack!!
Walking distance to river run through a path. Would stay here again

We cooked two meals in the very well equipped kitchen. The owner had games in the home which we played with our grandson. Very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this property!

We love the Alders neighborhood! The unit is upscale, furnished well, great amenities, well stocked kitchen, and great layout. The management company made it super easy to check in and great email instructions and back and forth communication via texts etc. we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful open house to spend good quality time with friends! Great location to be local or even go further into other towns!! Very convenient! Very well taken care of and clean!
