The condo the kids wanted to be at when they were tired of skiing
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location location location. Arapaho Lodge is ski-in ski-out, a three minute walk to the River Run Gondola. That’s the best lift to start from each day because it takes you to the top, and when it’s freezing outside, the Gondola is a warm retreat. There’s also the heated outdoor pool, and hot tubs in the courtyard outside the building. River Run Village was enjoyable, skiing Keystone was enjoyable. We had an awesome tripThe unit itself was a great place to make home for our trip. A master bedroom, a second bedroom, and a pull out couch gave us our own spaces. There is a heated parking garage below, so convenient, and nice to not have to trek gear far (we skied a day at another resort) or get into a frozen car.We did need an extra keycard, and it was easy to just text building management to get that resolved easily. Very responsive.- Reviewed On: 1/22/2025

For an older construction the facility was fine. One morning we didn’t have hot water but that was remedied quickly after we called. The top guard off of the main rooms window slats fell off and it was apparent that they had been repaired in the past. This did not have an impact on the overall experience. The kitchen faucet had a tendency to come on by itself but it was quickly determined to be a gravity thing with the handle. The coffee pot was great and the parking was good.- Reviewed On: 7/11/2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've rented (now) three seperate units in the Keystone River Run area, and this was hands down the best. Clean (they all are, really), and totally stocked for 4-5 people. The kitchen is "small" but complete. They even had a solid crockpot that we'll use next year should we return to Keystone. Everything worked - the bedroom TVs are both smart, so we were able to log into our various online accounts. Bonus! The unit looks down on the main River Run square - people watching!- Reviewed On: 2/14/2022

Great 2 bedroom location and as described. Just note while your stay includes access to the parking garage, you do have to move your car by the 10 am check-out.- Reviewed On: 2/6/2022
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. Check out time is 10am and during extremely busy times of the year, i.e. ski season, we cannot extend check out time. However, had you called our office to ask about parking options, we would have happily told you that you are welcome to keep your vehicle in the garage until 4pm on the day of check out so that you can enjoy the slopes. Great location
We picked this apartment for the location as is just minutes walking to the Gondola. I loved that is located in the Village so I didn’t have to use a vehicle for anything. I want to thanks the admin to let me park in the garage even thought the apartment was not ready for early check in. That was very helpful as I wanted to ski that day and no parking was available close to the gondola that afternoon. I have no doubt that I will rent this place in the future.- Reviewed On: 1/12/2022

Quick check in. We stayed for 5 nights and had everything we needed for our family. We would definitely book again. Thank you.- Reviewed On: 1/9/2021

Great place
My family and I enjoyed staying here. Being in the village was very convenient. You can walk to everything. Nice and quite. Great floor plan. There weren't many people here because of Covid, but we found the condo clean and felt very safe with all of the procedures the businesses had in place. Don't forget your face masks! If you do they can be purchased in the shops.- Reviewed On: 8/10/2020

Great Location!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience in Keystone. The unit was clean and in a great location in regards to shops and the slopes. The general store was directly below and Starbucks directly across in the the village. Some items needing attention are the dining table and chairs (very wobbly and unsafe), poor pillows, the sofa bed was not comfortable and my kids slept with their heads at a 41 degree downslope (according to my iphone). The lighting in the unit was sufficient, but I found myself wishing the lights were brighter. Overall, I would still recommend this unit, especially for its location.- Reviewed On: 1/7/2020
We will certainly have our maintenance staff check-out the dining room furniture to ensure all bolts/screws are securely fastened and make sure the sleeper sofa mechanism is functioning properly. Thank you very much for this feedback.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo. We went in the mid August where it should be hot but to our surprise it was very comfortable. Being from Texas this place was a breath of fresh air. When we got there the place was hot inside but we knew that there was no air conditioning so we opened up the place and within I say 20 - 30 minutes it cooled of. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was very clean, well stocked with its necessities and the balcony viewed great. This was a good place for my family and I we cherished the time and made memories.- Reviewed On: 9/10/2017

Great location!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved looking over the square! The pool and hot tubs were very clean. The condo was perfect for my mother, my two kids, and myself. The condo could have been a little cleaner, overall it was decent, but when we arrived the trash hadn't been taken out, the floor hadn't been swept, and there was food in the disposal. We really loved our stay though and we love Keystone!!!- Reviewed On: 8/17/2017

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a good time at the condo was clean and comfortable. There is no AC in this unit but plenty of fans. There is little AC in the Colorado high country since the lows often dip down into the 40's at night even in July/August. Was comfortable at night. The balcony over looks the village area. You will hear people down there but its not a problem. Close to shopping/dining and ski lifts. Had a great time. Summit County Retreats were good to work with.- Reviewed On: 7/30/2017

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay in this condo. We are a family of 6 and it fit us perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked. The location was great (could look out the balcony and watch the kids play bean bags). The whole process was very organized and I loved that I could fill out a form and new towels would be delivered the next day. This is our second time to Keystone and we loved every minute of it. Awesome place A+++
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was exactly as advertised. I don't think we could have picked a better place to stayou. This location is perfect for anyone skiing or snowboarding keystone mountain. The underground parking garage was great, the room overlooks the village so everything is walking distance (stores, restaurants, bars, gondola). The ladies at the front office were super nice, very professional and helpful. The condo was great, the rooms were big and there was plenty of room for 6 adults to move around. One room has an attached bathroom which was great for the one couple we had. If you stay in CO and bring air up mattresses this place can easily sleep 10 or 12. The only cons we had were the couch needs replacing it was old and lumpy and the dish washer needed a new rubber seal that we didn't notice until checkout. But those are things that are easily fixable. Overall 9.5 of 10 I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again no question.- Reviewed On: 1/18/2017

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location overlooking the square and shops. It is more of hotel/resort feel not your typical Airbnb experience.
Unfortunately our son had a medical emergency and had to take an ambulance to Denver (and had to spend the next 4 days in the hospital) so we only got to stay 3 nights out of 5. Wish we could have stayed longer since we had already paid for all 5 nights.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to come back again!- Reviewed On: 7/22/2016

Great place
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Five adults, two couples and one single, stayed here. Overall it was a perfect place for our crew. We cooked dinner at the unit 2 of 3 nights. The family/living room is not huge and wouldn't want it to be any smaller for five of us, but it was perfect. Comfortable beds and clean and you can check out what's going on in the main drag of River Run by looking out the windows.- Reviewed On: 3/8/2016

Fabulous Location!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Arapahoe! We couldn't believe how close we were to the gondola and parking was incredibly easy. The living room furniture is beginning to look a little worn out but everything was very clean and the beds (even the sofa bed) were very comfortable. We also had a lovely view of the village. We got locked out once and the management office was very quick in helping us out. Outstanding experience overall!- Reviewed On: 2/21/2016

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was both our first time in Keystone and our first time to rent a condo from VRBO. We were very satisfied with both. The entire process was easy and well-organized. The condo was exactly as it was described and perfect for our group of 5. The location in particular stands out as it was a short walk to the ski gondola, shops and restaurants. It was also nice to have a reserved spot in the heated underground parking garage. I'd definitely recommend.- Reviewed On: 1/20/2016

Close to the action, but still quiet
This condo offers good privacy for adults because the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo. The balcony was fun to "people watch." The building itself is only about a 2 minute walk from the lifts and all we had to do to get to shops and restaurants.- Reviewed On: 6/6/2015

Thumbs up for: discount on ski rental at a great ski shop, ease of check in, well furnished and a good amount of kitchenware, parking garage! Thumbs down for: Noise from outside in early morning and late nights, hot tub on first floor wasn't nearly warm enough. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before we even got there the office was so kind and courteous, I knew it was going to be a great condo. The check-in and check-out process was so easy. The condo was clean, comfortable, & well-cared for. The kitchen had all the tools we needed, even if it lacked basic food items (oil, any kind of spice, flour, etc.). Most importantly for me in a vacation, the beds were comfortable. Plus, we weren't disturbed by noise from party-goers in River Run, even though the condo directly overlooks the main square. Great place. We would stay there again in a minute!- Reviewed On: 1/21/2014

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I usually don't write many reviews but I'm generally very happy with my stay at Arapahoe Lodge. Everything went off without a hitch, nice condo, great location, heated garage and just so so close to everything. There was also a super convenient grocery store right below the condo and the gondola was a very short 2 minute walk tops. All in all, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends.- Reviewed On: 3/31/2013

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WoW! This place was much more than I expected. The pictures do not do it justice. The condo is large with high ceilings, plenty of room for all 6 of us and right in the middle of everything. It is very close to the gondola... about a two minute walk to the gondola. The village grocery store and all the restaurants were surrounding the building, which made it very easy to get everything we needed.- Reviewed On: 2/28/2013

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying in Arap 8140. It has a great location and was perfect for our family. The only issues were the dishwasher didnt drain properly and would flood the sink area and the water that came out of the bathtub was orange, as if the pipes had not been flushed or used for sometime. I would recommend that the cleaning crews run the water regularly so this does not happen in the future. We did leave a note about the dishwasher not draining. We would definitely stay in this property again due to its location and view of the village.- Reviewed On: 11/13/2012
