Great RR Village Square Unit & Customer Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the perfect rental for people who want to be in the center River Run Village. It slept 6 adults comfortably (2 couples and two singles) but would also be great for a family. The unit isn’t brand new, but it is very well kept, and very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. There are a ton of fun games to play in the unit and the wi-fi was solid (worked great on the patio). It’s only about a 5-min walk to the RR Gondola, and a 20-min walk to the Old Village and Lake. Of note, the patio is huge with plenty of seating and a beautiful view of the mountain but has no shade until late afternoon in the Summer, so bring your sunscreen and glasses. Also, it overlooks River Run Village Square, but when concerts are playing in the Summer you cannot see the stage directly as the unit is behind and to the left of the platform, Still, there is no problem hearing the music and enjoying the crowd, and didn’t bother us at all during the show that weekend. The Buffalo Lodge building also has great amenities like the game room, hot-tubs and grills, which we took full use of. We must loudly give a SHOUT OUT to the SCMR staff for being very friendly, helpful and accommodating when we unexpectedly had to stay another night. They took care of us like the pros that they are. We would rent this unit again and we ALWAYS rent with SCMR because their people, service and attention to detail is unmatched in the valley! Cheers to them!

Great 3 bedroom unit with private baths for each. The porch is what makes this unit special. The family / dining area is small and packed with large scale furniture making it tighter yet. Kitchen feasible for reheating or full on cooking a large meal. We’d stay again.

We loved this little village especially having 3 little kids! Gave us all enough room! Only thing being a first timer in Colorado is I didn’t know September was the slowest month so a lot of places were closed! We did however love the two parks & the crepe stand! We even ventured out of the village a lot! The top of the mountain was beautiful l! The whole reason why we rented in Buffalo lodge was because we had a wedding to go to that was at the top of the mountain! We will definitely be back & we were all sad to leave!

Beautiful little village

We loved this little village especially having 3 little kids! Gave us all enough room! Only thing being a first timer in Colorado is I didn’t know September was the slowest month so a lot of places were closed! We did however love the two parks & the crepe stand! We even ventured out of the village a lot! The top of the mountain was beautiful l! Perfect Family Keystone Village Spot

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at this property. The check in process required a brief stop a lock box to pick up the room keys and from there it was only a short drive to the condo. I did read some reviews that the property was a little dated and this is in fact true. That being said it did not diminish our enjoyment of this property. The location right in the village is perfect. It was an easy walk to the lifts, and we enjoyed the many dining options in the village. There is even a small convenience store that although pricey worked well for last minute items. From this location it was an easy 25 minute drive over to Breck for dinner one evening. We also drove 45 minutes to Vail for lunch one day. If you wanted to ski at either location the trek there and back is not bad at all. I would highly recommend this condo and would stay again in the future.

Great Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a family ski trip and this was the perfect space! From check-in, which we upgraded to 'early check-in' since we got to Keystone earlier than planned, to check out, the rental process was seamless. Each family had their own room with their own bathroom, beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything you needed to prep meals, the living room/dining area had comfortable and enough seating for all of us. We had 4 little kids, ages 1-6 and the large balcony (and washer & drier) was such a great bonus to allow the kids to safely play in the snow outside and enjoy the snowflakes! Thanks for hosting us!

Great Condo, Best Balcony in River Run

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip to Keystone in this condo. It was too cold to use the balcony much but the view was amazing, right on the main stretch of the village, and would be a great place to hang out in the warmer months. Easy walk to the Gondola. The only downside to the condo was that the blinds were pretty thin and with the lights from River Run the rooms were pretty bright for sleeping.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our condo in River Run! It was a great location for us, as we could be right in the activity of the village, but on our own deck. The deck was our favorite place. It is on the east side of the building, so was quite bright in the morning. We cooked most of our meals in the very well stocked kitchen. But also enjoyed eating at ‘Lime’ which is right downstairs and around the corner. Also love Haywood Cafe for breakfast! Buffalo Lodge is a very well kept building, and we will definitely consider this unit the next time we stay in the Village!

Great place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean and I’m a stickler for cleanliness!! Location is convenient for activities in the area, just a short drive to A Basin, Dillon, Frisco, and Breckenridge. Also perfect distance to rent bikes and ride to the neighboring towns by way of the bike paths. Check in was simple and the instructions from Summit County Mountain Retreats were easy to follow and communication was quick and thorough. The unit has one of the best decks in the complex and looks over the center square of Keystone. Surprisingly quiet even with all the windows open at night. I highly recommend this unit!!!

Annual family ski trip

We have been back to Keystone 8 of last 9 years to ski as a family, and always enjoy the easy access to River Run gondola and ski school for our youngest. Great location. More than enough room for a family of 4-5. Bars and restaurants are even closer than when we stayed at the Springs (love the Springs as well). ONLY downside is their hot tubs are small and outdated, BUT we easily walked over to the Dakota across the parking lot each afternoon as the hot tubs there are nice and the heated pool was great for our 2 kids.

Great location for the gondola

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is perfect for a family ski trip, kids can come & go to the gondola with riding a shuttle (which is nice). The living room/dining area is a little cramped but couches & chairs are comfy. Plenty of towels but could use a few extra garbage bags. Oversized balcony with the picnic table was a nice surprise.

Great location and amenities with easy check-in!

This place was perfect for our needs and we will certainly look to stay here again. The location was excellent, the hot tub and ski lockers were a nice bonus. You can tell this place is well loved and cared for.
I only have a few minor suggestions/complaints. It seems there is a lot of excess furniture in the space that can make moving around difficult. Also, it would be great to have a small broom or vacuum as we had toddlers with us and we wanted to leave the space in good shape but we didn't have anything to sweep things up with. Lastly, the beds were quite firm. This is more personal preference, but if you don't like a firm mattress, just be aware.

Great stay in Keystone at this condo located right in the base area. Condo is nicely appointed with everything you need. Covered parking garage is a bonus for safely keeping your bikes on the car rack overnight. The kids were able to use the pool in the adjacent building and the adults used the hot tub in the same building as the condo. There were a few places open to get coffee in the morning (Inxpot!) and the Kickapoo Tavern for lunch or dinner. Crepes stand is open for delicious treats. Nature is calling! Get out there.

This was a convenient spot for attending a conference at the Keystone Convention Center. You could drive to it in less than 5 minutes, or take an easy bike/walk on the wonderful trails that surround the place. Nice big deck off the living room gave us a beautiful view of the sunrise and full moon at night. Only downside was the garbage collection outside our bedroom window early morning, and later evening (6:30 am/10:00pm). Not the fault of the condo owner...but the resort might consider having them collect it at different times in the summer/fall months when people sleep with their windows open.

The only thing that could use some replacing at some point is maybe the carpeting. Other than that everything was very clean. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again in the future!
