Great place to stay in Keystone! The unit was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes. One of the best parts was the location, only about a 5-minute walk to the gondola, even in ski boots, which made getting on the mountain incredibly easy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone skiing Keystone.- Reviewed On: 12/28/2025

The location is amazing and so close to restaurants, shops, and gondola. The unit was the perfect size for our family of 5. Great condo!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was well layed out and had plenty of space. Location was great, just a few minutes walk from the building to the gondola. Kudos to the cleaning team as it was the cleanest condo that I have ever rented. It was a bit noisey given the proximty to the elevator (particularly in the master suite) and parking lot, although I would argue that snow plow noise in the early morning is a sign that a good day is on the way!- Reviewed On: 2/1/2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This well stocked and spaciously large 2bed/2bath penthouse condo (for the price) was excellent. Moms’ weekend
Easy check in process on our time frame. Elevator from parking garage was broken during our stay, but this was communicated via text message before we arrived which allowed us to plan ahead. Bedrooms were spacious and unit was clean upon arrival. The only issue we encountered during our stay was ice maker not working. They sent maintenance out. They brought ice trays and filled them since they were unable to immediately fix the issue. Overall great unit, owner, and communication. Would rent again.- Reviewed On: 9/11/2022

Spent 5 days here in early April at the end of the ski season. As-advertised condo. Overlooks parking lot with hills behind. Very detailed instructions & tips from owner helpful and clear. Underground parking. Can walk with your skis a few mins to gondola/lift. 3 humidifiers helped keep things comfortable. Nice to have the 2 hot tubs and pool tables downstairs along with ski storage.- Reviewed On: 4/24/2022

Outstanding Customer Service
OK - we go to Keystone and Breck to crush the slopes - not to admire our condo. Buffalo Condo - 2/2 - was great. Zero complaints - a bit dated but who cares. As soon as we got there, I received a text from a live person letting me know to respond back if we need anything. I couldn't figure out the remote - we had a technician in our living room within 15 minutes. Job handled. Very pleased with the overall stay. Cheers- Reviewed On: 3/30/2022

Beautiful condo!
We really enjoyed our stay at River Run Village! The condo had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable, the showers were immediately hot with great water pressure, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The laundry was right across the hall which made laundering easy! The heated pool made swimming even on a week it snowed fun! We had a few things not working but the management responded immediately. Great condo, great management and we really enjoyed the small touches that truly made this feel like home for the week! We would definitely stay again!- Reviewed On: 5/27/2021

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Buffalo Lodge #8416 was an enjoyable stay! We stay in Keystone River Run almost once a month and this place is larger than other 2BR/2BA condos we've rented. Being close to the elevators is convenient, but also noisy so if you're a light sleeper, beware. It did not bother us much, but we noticed it. The bedrooms are large and mattresses were comfortable. And the balcony was large and private. We enjoyed doing the Keystone resort puzzle while staying here too! We would stay here again and recommend this condo to friends & family.- Reviewed On: 3/23/2021

Nice unit
Good sized rooms. Comfy king sized beds, good towels and easy access Keystone. It is near the elevator and a bit noisy. The underground parking is a plus but the large garage serves several properties so you do have to look for the correct elevator. Really basic hot tub next to a parking lot. The other ones on property were all closed. Again, inside the unit was great and there is a nice porch. It too looks over the dumpster and the parking lot but out over that you see mountain views.- Reviewed On: 11/2/2020

Great place to stay!
This property is a great place to stay. Excellent location, lots of amenities, good communication with rental company. The one small downfall was the check in area was a little difficult to find. The sign for the building was not lit up in any way. Once we got the keys everything else went fine. We are already planning on coming back!- Reviewed On: 10/19/2020

Great Location
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is on the top floor of the Buffalo Lodge overlooking the main parking area for skiers- with the mountains in the background, it made for fun people watching. The check in process was clunky. You have to go to a random hallway in a building on the way to the lodge to pick up an envelope with your keys before driving to the lodge. It felt a little impersonal, but I guess it was fairly efficient. Condo is nicely decorated.- Reviewed On: 12/13/2018

This place was really nice. Very top floor with a nice view. All of the small items such as towels, tissues, etc were high quality. The place was kept clean and maintained well. The only small complaint would be the paper-thin walls -- we could hear people outside very easily, even the elevator. Other than that, a fantastic place to stay and very conveniently located right off the resort.- Reviewed On: 1/30/2018

Such a beautiful and great place! Thank you for a great vacation for my husband and I! We will definitely be back! The room is very spacious and roomy! Nice fireplace, nice kitchen, nice bedrooms! The elevator didn’t bother us at all (I read in other reviews that they thought it was loud) it was not noisy at all, not for us, and we did stay in the master bedroom which was closer to it.
So close to everything! You can just walk down from elevator through common area, and walk through the river run village, and to gondola! So amazing, and beautiful!

One drawback is Keystone/Vail are a bit cheap about maintaining things like the ice rinks and fire pits around the area.- Reviewed On: 2/26/2017

Our group had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Buffalo Lodge. The space was larger than anticipated, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We purchased groceries in the town of Dillon, and cooked our meals in the large kitchen for the duration of our stay. The town of Keystone was great, and had lots of shops and restaurants, and of course great scenery!!
The beds were very comfortable, as was the pull out bed. It came equipped with lots of bedding, and an added memory foam mattress to put on top of it. Our friends said it felt just like a regular bed. This was a corner unit apartment, and we didn't hear any other people during our stay - it felt very private.
The hot tub/grill area was also a great place to hang out. Two hot tubs that we used weren't packed with other guests, and the grill was large enough to cook a big meal for 6.
The check in/check out process couldn't have been easier - we had no issues getting to the property, and the parking was a breeze.
The hosts made this an extremely easy trip, and we had a really great time. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the Keystone area :).- Reviewed On: 9/5/2016

Our only complaint was the late check in time of 4pm and the early check out at 10am which was tough for a one night stay.- Reviewed On: 1/20/2016

Weekend in Buffalo Lodge
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A quick snowboarding weekend for the hubby, brother, his girlfriend and I. Buffalo lodge is in a great spot right across from the free lot and not far at all from the gondola to get up to the top of the mountain. The condo is very spacious, and, being on the top floor, allows for vaulted ceilings which make it feel even more roomy. The bed in the master was super comfy. Well-maintained, nice, clean condo.- Reviewed On: 11/24/2015

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay. We went with another couple. There was plenty of room. The rooms do look out on a parking lot and that has some small inherent noise if you leave the windows open. If you close them you hear nothing. You still get a gorgeous view of the mountains! It had all kinds of stuff in the kitchen (far beyond the norm) and had top notch bedding, etc. We'll stay here again!- Reviewed On: 9/2/2015

Great Stay at Keystone.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four of us stayed during 12/7 - 12/11/2014. There reservation process and key-pick up was seemless. We were excited upon entering the suite that it was as big as pictured on the VRBO site (no trick photography here). Unlike my stay last year, the suite was not overheated. We did make use of all three humidifiers and drank plenty of water so we were not dried out. The bathroom towels were well stocked and paper products were available as described. (A kitchen towel or two would be helpful and perhaps the cleaners could check the ice cube trays.) I would select this unit again without hesitation. When in the area be sure to dine at Cafe ProFusion in Dillon .. fantastic. The Inxspot in Keystone village is also worth a return trip.- Reviewed On: 12/13/2014

The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The only thing I would recommend is if you are planning on using the sleeper sofa, bring an air mattress instead-- It's really lumpy and uncomfortable.
