Designed with modern finishes throughout, it features an updated kitchen and bathroom, premium linens, and a private balcony overlooking Dercum Square.
Located on the top floor, it offers a quiet retreat while keeping you in the heart of River Run Village—just steps from shopping, dining, village events, and a short walk to the high-speed gondola. The heated garage located directly below the property leads to easy access to the condo via the elevator. At Dakota Lodge, guests enjoy the largest heated pool in Keystone, two oversized hot tubs with slope views, and direct access to Dercum Square, which transforms into an ice rink in winter and a mini golf course in summer. In addition, you have access to the neighboring Buffalo Lodge lounge, including hot tubs, pool tables, and games.
The inviting living area features vaulted ceilings, modern decor, a flat-screen TV, and a beautiful stone gas fireplace. The entryway offers mounted hooks and a bench—perfect for organizing gear after a day of adventure. A ski locker on the first floor next to the elevator makes for easy access to your ski equipment. The queen Murphy bed and queen sleeper sofa provide flexible sleeping options, with extra linens conveniently stored in the closet. Step out onto the private balcony to take in mountain views and overlook the lively Dercum Square below.
The full-sized kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all essential cookware and tableware. Comfortable dining table for meals or game nights with additional seating at the breakfast bar.
The bedroom includes a luxurious king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and a cozy seating area by the window with scenic views. This condo had everything we needed. it was very comfortable, especially with the gas fireplace which made it cozy. The location is great for walking to the gondola and all of the village shops. Great location with included parking spot. Unit was as described and found it to be clean upon arrival. Kitchen has a basic setup but does not include a cookie sheet, cooling rack, large mixing bowls, or serving dishes.
We could only get one of the two windows in the primary bedroom open, which considering there is no AC and the unit is on the 5th is something to note for the summer months. Balcony is nice, but there is no screen door for the summer/fall months.
Check-in and checkout were simple following the provided directions. However, check-in is at 4:30pm and check-out is at 10am, which I found annoying for the price per night; you can add additional hours for $15/hr, if available. 5 star property with 1 star management
This condo is fantastic, great location, lots of room and quality furnishings (beds, mattresses, couch etc). It's always unfortunate when a nice place is poorly managed, I always feel bad for the owners. We arrived after driving all day, insane traffic delays etc. The condo didn't have enough towels for the number of people booked. When I messaged the management company about the shortage, they told me I had to get back in the car and come and get them at their office up the road!!!! It was New Years Eve and the village was a giant traffic jam. I wasn't going anywhere after driving all day. I asked if they could just drop them off the next morning when they had staff on site and they refused and said I had to come pick them up. I escalated the issue to VRBO, wasting an hour of my vacation time, only to have them tell VRBO that they'd be happy to drop them off the next day. Why couldn't they just have done that in the first place? Why is customer service so hard to find these days?- Reviewed On: 1/5/2025

Responsive host. Great location. It is one of the best locations to stay and walk to River Run village and Keystone ski resort. It also saved us the need to find other parking for going to Keystone. The location is perfect, as it is just next to the village, so walking to the gondola, or to get food, etc. is just a few steps. Observations:1. Dedicated indoor parking in a heated garage is an amazing feature.2. There is only one elevator, so it can get crowded at times. Just remember, you are on vacation. 3. The management company was excellent. We had two minor issues, and both were resolved with a simple text message. A humidifier and the hair dryer died mid week and both were replaced within an hour.4. The view is fantastic, especially if you like people watching with your morning coffee.5. My daughter and I only stayed on night. We loved the location. Close to the lifts, restaurants and ice skating. Hot tub was nice and the pool was warm enough to stay in for a while on a cold night. Beautiful condo, great location!
It's a great condo. Very clean and comfortable. Both the main king mattress and the murphy bed queen mattress have firm memory foam pads on them that are pretty comfortable. My husband didnt sleep as well due to the firmness but I was good. We were grateful for two humidifiers to use while sleeping, as it's super dry in Keystone. There are also several big box fans we used to pull in the cool outside air, which was great due to there being no AC. (We stayed in July and the unit was definitely quite warm, being 5th floor. But we were comfortable.) The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The pool and large hot tub were wonderful! Would stay here again. Very positive experience.- Reviewed On: 7/17/2023

This condo at the Dakota Lodge was perfect for our quick family getaway. You can walk right to the lifts! The parking garage made for easy parking and access. Our family enjoyed the cozy fireplace, very comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere. The pool and hot tubs were fantastic after skiing. Would definitely stay again!- Reviewed On: 2/25/2023
