Description

This oversized 1 bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed and queen sleeper sofa. It features a primary suite on our Ivory White Bedding program and private laundry. The balcony overlooks Dercum Square. Centrally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and festivities. Plus, you're a short walk from the high-speed gondola. Dakota Lodge offers shared amenities including the largest pool in Keystone with slope views and two oversized hot tubs. And it's next to Dercum Square that features an ice rink during winter and a mini golf course during the summer.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV above a beautiful gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings. There's a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a Murphy bed for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra linens are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and overlooks Dercum Square that features an ice rink during the winter and a miniature golf course during the summer. Beyond that are beautiful mountain views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area. It has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary suite features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program, a flat screen TV and its own access to the private balcony. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. There’s a private combination washer and dryer in the primary bathroom, and laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.

Enjoy the luxury of a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. The entire bed is remade with fresh, white linens for each guest arrival.

This was a return visit from last year. Overall it was conveniently located. We walked to happy hour & dinner in Riv

View of skating rink. High ceilings. Warm unit Could not figure out TV. Couch too soft for sitting. Shower curtain needs to be replaced. Loved having a parking garage.

Negative: A 5:00 check in and 10:00 check out wasn’t favorable for the price you pay. Most places we stay in do 3:00-11:00 which is much better. I requested an early check in and was told I had to pay an extra $15 an hour for early check in…seems very greedy! I have never had that issue at another Airbnb. If the place is clean and ready early why not let the paying guest in? I requested the early check in anyway and got no response until after we checked out. Poor communication!

Labor Day Getaway

Stayed at this lovely property for several days over Labor Day weekend. The check in process is at an offsite location but it’s extremely easy. Loved the covered garage parking and that the property offers shopping carts and luggage carts in the garage. The property site is very quiet and clean. We loved the huge comfy bed and enjoyed that the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook up something nice. Tea kettle but no tea unfortunately. We locked ourselves out accidentally and team was so responsive and helpful l. Loved the hot tub as well. We loved it so much we extended our stay another day.

We love Keystone! Have stayed at other units in this same area and enjoyed this one the most. The heated parking garage was very nice to have, especially with the single digit temps we had while in town. The only thing downside was the washer / dryer combo machine. Took forever to dry our clothes so had to fly home with some damp garments. Other than that, would definitely recommend staying here. Walkable distance to ice rink / restaurants / gondola. Convenience is awesome. Thanks guys.

The property and room were really nice. No funky smells or anything weird. The check in process was abnormal, having to go to another building across the highway to get the keys. Would definitely recommend. My family will look to stay here again next time we’re in town.

Family of 5 Fit Well

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 6 nights and had 2 adults and 3 teens. Although we chose to stay in a smaller place, it wasn't too tight of a fit. We weren't really in the room much other then to sleep and eat and there was just enough room to fit us all fine. It's perfect walking distance to the gondola and the resort village. Kids loved the pool and hot tubs and pool table in river run. It was nice our key card worked on River run as well. Balcony was HUGE with nice views. Walking distance to everything you need.

Location, location location!

We loved this unit, great location, super comfy and nice views from the balcony. The Dakota Lodge is right at the River Run base, with shops, food, bars and even a little grocery store. Super awesome location with views of the mountain while using outdoor pool and spa!
