A great, clean place to stay. Located in a beautiful resort with plenty to keep us entertained. The beds were cozy and everything was tidy.
Consider the high temperatures if you are booking in the summer. There is no AC (listed in the description) so it does get a little warm, but plenty of fans are provided to help keep things comfortable.- Reviewed On: 8/4/2026

My family and I had a great stay here! The warmer weather for this time of year was not ideal for skiing but having the pool and hot tubs with shower/bathroom area made up for it. We really enjoyed being right in Keystone and able to walk to coffee, food, etc. The place was perfect on the top floor with the two bed/bath split by the main living area. This place is right in the ski village, close to the slopes, shops, and restaurants. The unit itself is just as described and was very cozy. We heard complaints from others that the hot tubs were not very hot, and the sauna wasn't working. However, when we used the hot tub and sauna, they seemed hot enough for us. Also, the standard check-in time is later than usual, 5pm. You can request early check-in but it's a $15 charge per hour for early check-in and for late check out.- Reviewed On: 1/3/2026

There was an issue with the bed frame in the master bedroom and maintenance came and repaired it the same day I notified them about it. Great customer service. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is great. Love the bed setup which made sleeping easy for my kids. Decor was very nice. No a/c but fans were provided which worked well. View of pool and mountains from balcony was great! Walking distance to village. Our family had an amazing time here at Dakota Lodge. Loved being right in the village. Close to so Amy other towns, everything we needed was right there! Night time hot tub dips were perfect after a day of walking and shopping and hiking! Yes they do not have air conditioning and it is top floor with vaulted ceiling so I was nervous, but they had several fans in unit ready and available and we made it work! I wished I had cooked more as River Run Village is an expensive place to eat. Next time I'll know better and take advantage of the kitchen, especially the crockpot that was provided. Location is good as well and a convenient walk to the gondola, shops, and restaurants. The indoor heated garage was also nice. The lock on the ski locker was broken so we weren't able to use it. I called maintenance and so did the rental company but it was not fixed the entire time we were there so we had to carry our skis upstairs to the unit. This is no fault of the rental company, but rather the HOA. I will definitely book here again when I come back to Keystone.- Reviewed On: 1/13/2023

It was too late that evening, but they were out there first thing the next day. They worked on the issue all day Saturday trying to resolve it. That’s when we found out that some of these chicken bones made it all the way into the wall. At that point it required a professional plumber to come out. I just share the story with everyone to let you know that even though we had an issue they were on top of it trying to make it as pleasant as possible for us. The people there are great to work with. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Dakota 8539.Overall the condo was convenient to skiing, nicely decorated, clean, great pool area.The parking was strange as our truck did not fit in the ramp and there were no free options other than a parking lot one mile away. Perhaps a few exceptions for overnight parking in the river run lot could be arranged.Loved the games provided, well furnished kitchen, comfy couches, nice dining table.Beds were way too soft! We absolutely loved this condo and would highly recommend it. Perfect amount of space, super comfortable beds, great views, etc. The decor was on point too- loved it. Loved the vaulted ceilings too for being on the top level- felt so much more spacious because of that! It was about a 5 minute walk to the gondola, so not bad at all. So convenient to everything in River Run! We loved the pizza on the run place and the crepe stand! Our only complaint was that the ski locker lock wasn’t working while we were there so we had to carry our skis up to the condo each night. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice and easy to check in, pick up keys and access the rental. Nice condo in a great location.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a really nice place to stay with views of the mountain and the pool/hot tub area. The king bed is actually in a bedroom without its own bath, but it was not a problem for us at all because it was just our family and the common bath is right next to the bedroom. The "master suite" with connected bath has a queen and a full/twin bunk. Everything was clean and stocked with everything you need for a stay in the mountains. It is a short walk to the middle of River Run, and two stops on the free bus to Mountain House (for the kids ski school). Plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery, and a Starbucks within a block. Parked in the complimentary underground parking garage and rode the elevator up to the 5th floor. They also had plenty of luggage carts to make the move easier!
