Nice accommodations. Easy walk to the ski lift. Ski locker on first floor is very convenient. Well stocked kitchen that we used for cooking everyday for a week. Several shops, bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Parking is very tight if you drive a larger vehicle like a full size truck - even mid size requires a little maneuvering to park sometimes.

- Reviewed On: 3/15/2026

Thank you for the detailed review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the convenient location, easy access to the ski lift, and the ski locker—definitely a guest favorite. It’s great to hear the kitchen had everything you needed for a full week of cooking and that you were able to take advantage of the nearby shops and restaurants.
We also appreciate you calling out the parking situation. Mountain properties can be a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles, and your note will be helpful for future guests to plan accordingly.
Thanks again for staying with us—we’d love to host you again on your next trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great space and convenient location! Amazing view from the balcony. Condo has everything you need, kitchen is fully stocked with anything required to make a meal. Clean, plenty of space, and comfy. Easy to check in and check out. Everything is at a short walking distance (restaurants, convenience store, shops, gondola, ice rink). We will definitely book again, however my only suggestion is to upgrade/update the mattresses on both bedrooms, one side is very saggy and squeaky and prevent a good night sleep.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and as described. Really liked that it was far from the elevator so it cut back on noise but you also are far from the elevator! The view is beautiful!! Can’t get better! Master bedroom had a wonderful shower and beautiful updated bathroom. The bed was a little hard for me but I’m used to a sleep number bed so every bed that isn’t mine feels less comfortable. The second bedroom was well appointed and the kids loved the bunk beds. The bathroom was updated also and spacious. The living room had a couch with plenty of room and we like that we could eat our meals at a dinning room table. Property and unit were clean. The pool was nice we spent everyday there. Garage was clean, I believe they just cleaned it out. Love coming in off season there’s hardly anyone in river run, you get to enjoy the mountains and skip all the crowds. We ate at Windy City pizza, it was the bomb!!!!

Great location to shops and lifts. We would definitely book again. I agree with other reviews the master mattress could use a replacement. Otherwise …very nice accommodations.

It’s hard to give a positive review because the first day we discovered that the shower, the second shower, not the master shower, was not draining and I contacted the management people every day twice and they never got it fixed. Otherwise, the location and the size of the condo was excellent and it was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. If I were to be picky, I would say a new master bedroom mattress would be great… Andrew

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a great location with views of the ski resort. Check in was super easy and having ski lockers on the first floor was great. The newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen were lovely. Unfortunately, we found the beds super uncomfortable both in the master and 2nd bedroom. Otherwise, the condo was perfect for 3 of us.

Finding a mattress that satisfies the mass amount of renters we see is just not possible, but we do like to see every guest comfortable during their stay. If someone does not like the mattress we can offer a replacement air-mattress or mattress topper if we are made aware of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback!

We enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for the 4 of us. We didn’t cook but kitchen was well stocked with all necessary items if we wanted to cook. The balcony could use some cleaning, there was a grill that would have been nice to use but it was very dirty. Thanks for sharing this property.

This condo was great! Had updated and modern furnishings. Everything we needed and more to stay comfortable and make our downtime at the condo a wonderful experience. I would seek out this property in a heartbeat whenever I return to Keystone. Summit County Retreats was also very responsive when we realized the dishwasher wasn’t working because of a part on order. Their handyman came by and then tracked down the part before returning later in the day to repair it. After chatting with him, he gave us a suggestion on a great place to eat and things to do around Leadville. We took his advice and it made the last day of our trip even better.

Beautifully updated unit. Very comfortable. My treat was time curled up in the corner of the sectional reading. Well appointed. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and we swam every day! The TV was a bit confusing. Wasn't sure if we had access to dish network. Maybe a writeup in the room about what is included and how to access? Not a big deal. Thank you for a wonderful adventure with my daughter!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience was mostly great. The condo was wonderful and well stocked, actually far better than expected, so much so, we didn't need to bring half the stuff we did. Only couple of minor issues - mattress in master bedroom might need to be changed out. It was very uncomfortable on my wife's side, closer to the bathroom. Also the pots and pans didn't function as well as hoped. Probably time to change them out. Minor maintenance issues

The property was great. We wanted a quick and simple weekend away and this was great. We didn't realize that EVERYTHING in the village would be closed since the ski season was over and summer season hasn't started.... but it also meant everything was fantastically quiet and not crowded. Perfect for the kids to roam.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The parking instructions lacked information about where the parking access is located, but we found it with a drive around the block. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living room are well appointed. The mattresses are hard and made for a night of tossing and turning. You will need to bring any food basics that you may think would possibly be stocked such as condiments, aluminum foil, or coffee. We would love to return, and only wish that they would consider a mattress upgrade. Shower in master was lovely and had good water pressure. You will never be cold in this unit. We had the thermostat turned down to 50 all evening and still had to sleep with the window open, which felt great. The unit containing a working humidifier was a nice touch and added to the comfort.

We had a great time getting into the mountains for a weekend getaway with this property. The place was well equipped from a kitchen standpoint and overall was very clean. Had a broken picture under the master bed that we found, so led us to a slight downgrade on cleanliness because that would mean under the bed hadn’t been cleaned. Property managers were called and said they would get it cleaned up though, so that was nice to have responsiveness. Good location within walking of some of the ski village restaurants. Within driving of some amazing hikes too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We ski Keystone often, and River Run Exhibition Station is our favorite place to stay. Great location within walking distance to the gondola and slopes, shops, and restaurants. The parking garage is convenient for parking. We loved the views from this condo. The unit was well maintained, clean, and supplied with everything we needed for our group of 6. We always enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. My only complaint is that the beds in this unit were on the hard side. We all woke up complaining about it. Another thing to consider, we have stayed in different units here before, and were able to check in and get the keys on-site at the Buffalo building. This particular unit has check-in off site. You have to drive to pick up the keys. It was a very easy process, but having everything on site is more convenient.

Our family of five (11 - 15 year old kids) enjoyed our vacation at keystone and the convenient location was paramount to that. The walkability of the village, the short walk to the slopes (use the wagons to lug gear) was great for their first trip to the Rockies. The pool and hot tub were big hits with the entire family as well!
Thanks for a great vacation.

Very nice apartment with plenty of space. The room with two bunk beds was a little tight, but had a spacious bathroom area. It is worth noting that the shower in this room is not private (opens into the bedroom), but the toilet is. Wasn't an issue as there was a standard bathroom in the main part of the apartment. There is no air conditioning, but we had a cool night so we opened the windows (there were also more than enough fans stored in the closets). Area was really nice with a number of restaurants and cafes within the complex, and even more a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was the perfect size for a family of 4 although it would have fit a few more. The view from the living room/deck is unbeatable especially at the nightly rate. We were able to watch the mountain bikers come down and the gondola go up. The kids loved that! My only suggestion would be to bring sleeping bags for the bunk beds...they are really uncomfortable. I mean, REALLY bad...that being said, I think if you slept on a sleeping bag or a camping mat it would make a world of difference. For the rate and the view, it is totally worth it if you don't mind making a few adjustments for the bunk beds.

Amazing mountain view from the private balcony! Was very clean and exactly like the photos! Highly recommend this rental! In the summer it can get warm in the late afternoon/evenings but with the windows cracked and the fans they provide it was very comfortable! The heated pool and hot tub was a bonus when we finished with our daily activities for the kids! The kitchen had all items needed to make home cooked meals. I highly recommend this rental!

The condo was beyond comfortable, and my kids especially liked the bunk beds. It's the same in the building as kidtopia and right across the street from River Run Village and the gondola. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, had a great stay. Loved the location, very convenient and the Keystone Village was perfect for us! A couple of minor critiques, the master bed needs to be replaced. It slopes and is uncomfortable. The place could use a paint job and new carpet. We appreciated the 3 Tus and so many channels! Although it was hard to view in the bunk room. The set up is so tight, but it seems like that should be the master since the bath is connected. Is there anyway to not have to pay for laundry? That was kind of a pain to pay with a credit card for $3.50. Lastly, the parking below was really tight for our big truck and we had to park far away from the property. But even with those minor issues, we loved it!!!

We had a fantastic stay in Expedition Station! The condo was cute, cozy, and clean. The seven of us were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay. Half of our party skied and were very happy with the distance to the lifts. The other half of us enjoyed the shops and cafes as well as the hot tub.

The check in process was easy and parking was convenient. In particular we were appreciative of the mobile app that helped not only me, but the other driver in our group easily access all the information we needed to both prepare for our visit and check in.

This was our first trip to Keystone and we had a fantastic time. If we are back in the future this is the first place we will look for availability. Thanks for a great stay!

We recently stayed in the Expedition Station for our first family ski trip. The directions to pick up the keys and get to the condo were easy to follow and we had no problems finding our way into Keystone. The location was perfect: just about a block to the River Run rental shop and ski school, and about two blocks to the gondola. The condo was small but cozy. Our family of four had plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes - which we could see right outside our window. As mentioned in an earlier review, the layout of the second bathroom was a little strange: in order to take a private shower, no one else could be in the bedroom. Our teenagers simply took turns but for a family with small children, it probably wouldn't be a problem at all. The kitchen had all the plates, cooking pots and utensils needed and there were plenty of filters for the coffee pot. There's even a large slow cooker!! We had no problem with the dishwasher or any of the drains....all in all an excellent VRBO experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to Colorado and everything more than exceeded expectations. The condo rental was affordable, clean, great location, spacious and had everything that we needed! We had plenty of towels, when we ran out of wash cloths, the laundry facility was down the hall. We don't normally watch TV at home, so needless to say didn't watch much television during our stay, but the stations available totally sufficed. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook daily. My only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer! We will be staying here again for sure. Thank you guys for providing our home away from home. :)

Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for our family of 6, just enough space that we weren't tripping over each other and everyone had a bed. It was very well maintained and clean. Beautiful view of the mountains. The only thing that disappointed us was when we wanted to use the gas grill on the property, by the pool, and the propane tank was empty. When we called the on-sight property management company they told us there was no one that could help with that because it was after 5pm.
