On balance, I was very pleased with my stay at Gateway number 5028. The staff was very helpful and communicative, the location was great, and the place was accurately described. The parts that need work are: the lighting in the main room is dim – there should be either overhead lights or a bright standing lamp on the other side of the couch; fix the top dresser drawer, which falls down when you open it; make sure that the shower curtain and the liner are all in a hook; have softer towels – they are great if you want to exfoliate your skin, but otherwise they’re very rough. I would also appreciate larger bars of soap And it should be easier to get extra towels and face cloths.

Location was good, right off Highway 6. The only con I had was that the cushions on the couch need to be replaced. When I sat on it I had to use 2 bed pillows.

The guestbook checkin was very detailed and super simple! It was nice to have everything you need to cook and clean. It’s also nice to have Steep right downstairs for some delicious coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The location was good for walking to River Run but too far to walk with ski boots. It was a little warm in the room so we tried to adjust the temp but it didn’t work. We were told the thermostat doesn’t work and to crack the window. We did and it was fine. I read about hearing the neighbors through the thin walls and that did happen one night only. On the fridge is a phone number to call after hours to address those situations. Overall it was a great vacation and we were very happy.

Nice room for the price during the off-season. Everything worked except for the air conditioner. I couldn't determine if it was broken or simply disabled (no controls). The weather was pleasant and it wasn't needed, thankfully. The parking is easy and the location is excellent. The Haywood Cafe in the same building is worth hitting up for breakfast.

This is more of a hotel room with extra amenities in it… could hear the neighbors talking and playing music. But it was clean, comfortable and included a loud fan which helped drown out any unwanted noise. Bed was very comfortable.

Such an easy experience booking and checking into the Gateway for our Thanksgiving vacation. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of kitchen and bath amenities. Also the staff was extremely accessible by text to answer any questions about the property while we were staying there. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and pool access, on-call local shuttle service, ski lockers, and comfy bed. Everything was exactly as it should be and we'd definitely return again.

Really enjoyed this rental. We were in Keystone for a day to ski and wanted some place to crash afterwards. Great room, most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Very clean. Only complaint is that the room was very dim, but other than that it was a great stay!! Would recommend.

Lobby smelled funky but the room was very clean and the location is great. Check out Steep Brewing right under the condo for an amazing breakfast sandwich.

Great location, walking distance to Gondola & Village. Quiet, clean and spacious room with everything you need for a short stay. Hot tub is big enough for the amount of rooms at the location and found it fairly empty after a day in the slopes. Would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: After having all three of our college age children move back in due to covid and our 25th anniversary trip getting canceled, also due to covid, we decided to take a long weekend trip - 4 days - to Summit County. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had no issues accessing the private garage or our room. Everything worked well, so with the contactless check in, we didn’t have any reason to interact with the staff. The emails and app worked great. Even with the contactless arrangements, it still felt very hospitable. The room had everything we needed to fix our breakfasts. The humidifier was a lifesaver! The unit is walkable to Keystone base village where there are plenty of eateries, shopping and the lift to enjoy hikes with incredible views. A very relaxing getaway during a stressful time. Would stay here again.

Nice place, basically a hotel room set up to make your own food in which was perfect for us! 10 minutes from A-basin, there's a tiny grocery store in the building if you really need something and the pool was fun for the evening after skiing! We'd definitely come back here if we wanted to do another overnight ski trip or have a place to explore from in the summer!

The suite at Summit County Mountain Retreat was a great value! The location was perfect and just a short walk to River Run. The heated garage was convenient for parking and storing our snow gear. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we could possibly need. Some reviewers complained of noise which was not an issue for us despite the busy holiday weekend. We would definitely stay again!

The suite at Summit County Mountain Retreat was a great value! The location was perfect and just a short walk to River Run. The heated garage was convenient for parking and storing our snow gear. The condo was great! Right by keystone and less than a 10 mins drive to A basin. Bed was super comfy. Shampoo and soap for the shower. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect room for a couple. Bathtub was nice, water was warm and pressure was strong! Its uncommon to find an AC unit in this area so it wa nice to have. About 12 minute walk to the lifts, so not as close as some of the other properties. The bed and pillows were super comfy! Like other reviewers it very much felt like a hotel experience than AirBnb but was a nice place to stay!

Keystone in Summer is beautiful and awesome! I brought my bike and went on rides twice. Also went for a hike, and rented ATVs. So much to do, and the location is beautiful. Gateway is a standard lodge with 3 floors, underground parking, and about 150 units. Basically just like a hotel except they didn't come clean every day, which was perfect for me and WELL worth the savings that other options charge. I loved it and will look to do it again next time I visit.

Reviewer Comments: This unit really covered our needs quite well for our 5 night stay (there were 3 of us). The little kitchen area was well stocked and we ate most of our meals in the unit. You just had to keep your dishes clean shortly after you used them. (FWIW - the Subway at Mountain View plaza was also a good and inexpensive dinner option). King bed is pretty comfortable if you like a soft and thick pillowtop (foam). I was also pleased at how little noise we heard from hallway and other units each night. The swimming pool and hot tub were better than expected. Hot tub was actually HOT like it needs to be after a long day on the slopes. As many others have said in previous reviews, you can take the bus or walk to River Run. We found that the "Red Line" bus service worked best for getting us TO River Run (1 bus stop away). But coming back from River Run to Gateway was quicker if you just walked. Catching the bus from RR back to Gateway involved a long ride with 5-6 bus stops. My only complaint was the ski locker for this unit that was located in parking garage. We never did find it. Mostly due to the fact that it was easier to stow our skis in trunk of our rental car that was parked near elevator in the garage. Certainly not ski in / Ski out, but this unit was much better than staying in a nearby hotel at a similar price.

This property has a wonderful location. We could go to keystone River Run with ten minutes walk and also use shuttle bus.
The staff is kindly and the room is little old but keep so clean.

This was a great place to stay in and the location was perfect. Check in was super easy. Underground parking was a wonderful perk! Place was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

We stayed two nights and it was great. We loved access to the communal grill and the hot tub and indoor pool was a nice touch.
The unit itself was great. It had a tiny kitchen with lots of items (slow cooker, toaster, heating plate, etc) although we didn't use any of it as we grilled instead. It was clean. I would have preferred a harder bed and it was a bit noisy with traffic as it faced the highway with the windows opened. The noise was not as noticeable with the windows closed though. Great place and awesome value. Would come back again!

Very easy check-in and check-out instructions. Location is great, not quite walkable to the lifts (especially in ski boots) but a shuttle stop is right outside. Comfy, cozy and great for the price.

Great place! Exactly as pictured, clean, well kept. Enjoyed underground parking (low clearance though), proximity to river run gondola (~15 minute walk in ski boots). Whole rental process was smooth with step by step instructions and a website where it's possible to contact them with issues. Thought I had a problem with key card reader, turned out to be user error, but they got back to me the next day. Would definitely recommend.

We had a little repair problem (toilet tank started leaking on Saturday) we cleaned up the water and told the maintenance staff wasn't really an emergency since was the weekend. The maintenance staff called within the hour after we sent them the email regarding the issue and said they would be over to fix it (on Sunday!) by the time we got back to the condo in the evening everything was fixed and they had left a note. Really great customer service. We loved the condo and will definitely rent it again next year

Place is extremely small, as described. Kitchen is not really much more than a toaster and a hot plate with a tiny sink. Still, the location is great and the unit description is accurate. Washer and dryer are on-site, but not in-unit. Wouldn't recommend for more than two people but it worked out well for me.

Room was clean - but it needs either more lighting or brighter bulbs - very dark entry, so hard to see in the "kitchen" area. Our TV did not work upon arrival, and the office had already closed for the day, but left a message and when we got in from skiing the next day, they had come by and fixed. Overall, a very good stay - would definitely stay there again. No books, games, cards, or anything in the room - our friends had 5060 with lots of these items - so we were able to use them! Snake River is right next door - and Dillon is just down the highway with great shopping and dining. Love A-Basin skiing in May!!!

Overall, a very good stay - would definitely stay there again. No books, games, cards, or anything in the room - our friends had 5060 with lots of these items - so we were able to use them! Snake River is right next door - and Dillon is just down the highway with great shopping and dining. Love A-Basin skiing in May!!!

Reviewer Comments: Very pleased overall with Gateway, except that they were doing a lot of maintenance during the mud season - so the construction guys blocked the entries several times, and the pool/spa area was being updated, so not available. Other than that - very convenient, and comfortable - bed was good, and shower was great. Room was clean - but it needs either more lighting or brighter bulbs - very dark entry, so hard to see in the "kitchen" area. Our TV did not work upon arrival, and the office had already closed for the day, but left a message and when we got in from skiing the next day, they had come by and fixed. Really liked the unit! Was clean and nice and in a great location. Hideaway bed needs some repairs, but the main bed was incredibly comfortable. Perfect after a long day of boarding. Thanks for a great experience!

Awesome place to stay! Very clean and comfortable, nice amenities and there was a convenience store located in the building that came in handy. Less than a 10 minute walk to Keystone village and easy access to the highway to explore the mountains. Would definitely recommend!

Took a weekend trip with the kids and this place was perfect. We fished, swam and ate lots of food. Private and comfortable. I really liked that we were not right in the middle of the city but could still walk anywhere or drive in less than ten min.

Ski slopes extrememly close, Lake Dillion, the Outlets, and a short drive to Breckenridge. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the views are breathtaking, and this place was perfect for our weekend away from the city. Make sure you check out the breakfast place below the condo for a bacon bloody mary. We will defnitely be back!
