We stayed here for a family ski trip and this was the perfect space! From check-in, which we upgraded to 'early check-in' since we got to Keystone earlier than planned, to check out, the rental process was seamless. Each family had their own room with their own bathroom, beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything you needed to prep meals, the living room/dining area had comfortable and enough seating for all of us. We had 4 little kids, ages 1-6 and the large balcony (and washer & drier) was such a great bonus to allow the kids to safely play in the snow outside and enjoy the snowflakes! Thanks for hosting us!

We had a great trip to Keystone in this condo. It was too cold to use the balcony much but the view was amazing, right on the main stretch of the village, and would be a great place to hang out in the warmer months. Easy walk to the Gondola. The only downside to the condo was that the blinds were pretty thin and with the lights from River Run the rooms were pretty bright for sleeping.

Several items were damaged or broken including a missing kitchen cabinet door, two were crooked and off track. There was feces and urine on the patio so we never used patio which was a main reason for booking this particular place. Dining room light could not be used because it flickered constantly. No DVD player in family so we could not watch movies we brought. Bedroom dvd players can’t be connected in family room. Kitchen should have a cutting board. Family room carpet rolling up which was a tripping hazard. Closets were filled with extra lamps, furniture etc which took up nearly half the closet space. Humidifiers were moldy and required extensive cleaning before use. Too much furniture in family room. End tables stacked up and hard to maneuver through furniture because room was so crowded. Happy to provide pictures of any of these issues. Each individual issue on its own would not have been a big deal but when added up meant the property was in pretty rough condition, especially for the price paid. If these issues were addressed I would wholeheartedly recommend this rental.

Two problems: 1.). The shades are too sheer & light colored. They act as lampshades for the lights on the square down below. Unless you like to sleep with the bedside lamp on, don’t stay here.
2.) the HOA hired contractors who entered the condo while we were out WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE! Unacceptable! They moved our personal belongings around & had access to everything we had in the condo.
3.) the tvs run ROKU only. Terrible system - I am not a fan.

Thank you for your honest review and feedback. If we had known about these contractors we would have been able to notify guests of this, but the HOA did this without our knowledge as well as they did upgrade all wifi and TV recently and have added cable to these TVs for guest to enjoy!

Six of us stayed (four adults and two children) and this place was perfect. Centrally located in River Run, steps away from the gondola and everything the village has to offer. The living area is big enough for all to relax comfortably and bedrooms were well appointed with en-suite and comfy beds. Only niggle was the dishwasher and washing machine which were a little old and didn’t clean too well. Possibly need a good cleaning themselves!? Overall, very good and would recommend.

Prime location to village and River Run Gondola. There are some bathroom shelves and closets falling off hinges. The one thing that was difficult to get over is that the sun coming through the windows in the morning. All windows only have paper thin blinds. Excellent if you want to wake up very early otherwise bring sleeper masks if you want to sleep past 7am.

We appreciated the awesome location right in the village and easy walk to the gondola. But, that also meant it was a little noisy some nights with people at the bars and the loud metal trash cans just below the condo. Kitchen was well stocked, furniture was comfy, and it was great to have a huge deck and a dining table and 3 full bathrooms.

The location of this condo is the best thing about it. You are in the center of the village with all the shops, restaurants and gondola steps away. Our experience with checking in was less than ideal. Rental states 4:30 check in but when we arrived the cleaning crew was still there and after calls to the company we were finally able to move in at 6:00pm! The sliding glass door was dirty, food was left in the freezer, the refrigerator door handle was broken and just hanging on, and the trash cabinet and drawers in the master bedroom were both broken. We notified the company of the refrigerator door b/c we did not want to charged with breaking it. The master bed and the two twins are so very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Arrived on a Wednesday evening - the check-in process was very simple and easy. The unit was clean and tidy. Some of the light switches were difficult to find. The fireplace switch was slightly hidden behind an item on the shelf, but we found them all eventually.
The living room space was very comfortable. Plenty of services to choose from on the TV.
I was informed that the queen bed was comfortable - soft, but not too soft.
The king bed was VERY firm - more firm than I typically would like, but still comfortable.
I was informed that the two twin beds were VERY soft - may need to consider replacements soon.
Kitchen was adequate for our needs - two of the lower casework doors have started to come loose and could use a new hinge - but everything was clean, easy to find, and more than met our needs.
All of the bathrooms were clean and well kept.
The facility has a lot of amenities. We used the hot tub one evening - they used a LOT of chlorine, but I am sure that a lot of people are using it.
Great location - right in the middle of the resort.
We would stay here again - but I would probably switch to a different bedroom with a more comfortable mattress that fit my preference.

We loved our condo in River Run! It was a great location for us, as we could be right in the activity of the village, but on our own deck. The deck was our favorite place. It is on the east side of the building, so was quite bright in the morning. We cooked most of our meals in the very well stocked kitchen. But also enjoyed eating at ‘Lime’ which is right downstairs and around the corner. Also love Haywood Cafe for breakfast! Buffalo Lodge is a very well kept building, and we will definitely consider this unit the next time we stay in the Village!

The unit was very clean and I’m a stickler for cleanliness!! Location is convenient for activities in the area, just a short drive to A Basin, Dillon, Frisco, and Breckenridge. Also perfect distance to rent bikes and ride to the neighboring towns by way of the bike paths. Check in was simple and the instructions from Summit County Mountain Retreats were easy to follow and communication was quick and thorough. The unit has one of the best decks in the complex and looks over the center square of Keystone. Surprisingly quiet even with all the windows open at night. I highly recommend this unit!!!

Clean, well maintained. Only criticism is that blackout curtains are needed in the bedrooms facing the main walking area of the village. The lights are bright all night long.

This was a great place for three couples to stay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals every night. It was a very short distance to walk to the ski slopes. The check in went smoothly and they gave good advice on where to park our second car. We would all love to come back to this same condo again.

This location is perfect for a family ski trip, kids can come & go to the gondola with riding a shuttle (which is nice). The living room/dining area is a little cramped but couches & chairs are comfy. Plenty of towels but could use a few extra garbage bags. Oversized balcony with the picnic table was a nice surprise.

The property was perfect for our group. It is a great location, in the center of the Keystone Resort. Kitchen was great for eating in or getting takeout. We also had some groceries delivered on arrival day and that was super convenient. The TV was a nice size for watching Sports. Go Astros and Gig Em Aggies! :). Room sizes were comfortable and clean. There were some great hiking trails close by. Our group had a great time and would stay again.

The place itself was nice. However, there was almost nothing open in keystone. We choose this rental because of its proximity to restaurants in Keystone. Sadly none of the restaurants were open. The place was great but with nothing open we spent most of our time in dillon or breck.

Since we don't know how many of the grandkids will join us, we need to find one of the bigger rentals. This is the first three bedroom for us and the three bathrooms were great to have. Plenty of beds, large dining table, best stocked kitchen we've ever had, too much furniture in the living space making it hard to pull out the couch bed. Beautiful coffee table but was so heavy, you could barely move it. Was a little concerned that the bedding for the couch bed had been washed recently. The washer/dryer in the unit was nice for drying wet swim suits between pool visits. Wish the doors to the patio had a screen but seems like most units do not. We like the location of Buffalo Lodge for the kids and would stay here again.

Great time in Keystone - next to nothing open but that was just fine. Rental was great although there are several little things that need repairs - nothing that would hamper your stay. The views were awesome and I'm pretty sure it's the largest deck in the Village!

First time staying in this unit and we enjoyed it. Great location with respect to getting to and from the lifts in River Run. Unit was well furnished and easily accommodated 6 adults. A bit smaller than other 3 bedroom units we have stayed in at Buffalo Lodge.

This rental was the best rental we have stayed at in Keystone. Everything was well cleaned and stocked. The bathrooms had multiple towels and toilet paper. The kitchen had quality pots, that’s super hard too find. The only downfall i had was i didn’t find a broom. I will be renting this unit again.

The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The large deck was great and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus! I was worried about noise because the property faces the village, but it wasn’t an issue at all. A couple things that could be improved - the carpeting was very dirty and the mattresses probably need to be replaced (they sunk in quite a bit). Overall we enjoyed our stay!

This is our second time to Buffalo Lodge in River Run Village. This 3 bedroom cabin was perfect for our family. Easy access to hiking, biking and eating. The view from the balcony overlooks River Run Village and the ski slope. The property is in excellent condition. It is very clean, comfortable and modern. I can't say enough...

This was an annual mother daughter holiday with my daughter, her friend and mother. The condo was excellent for the four of us. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The balcony is what sold us. It was huge and terrific views of the village and mountains. The kitchen had everything imaginable for cooking. We cooked many meals in the condo, especially since there were no restaurants open during our stay in River Run Village.
This was a huge disappointment. We knew that ski season was over, however coming from Florida where nothing closes for any season it was a huge let down to find that most of the amenities were not available to us. No restaurants, other than the coffee shop which was excellent, or other shops. The general store was open and the shop keeper was helpful in giving us information on where else to go. The gondola was under repair and even the little putt putt was closed. Yes, we take responsibility for not checking to see if the resort shuts down at the end of May. But we were there first of June as well and to us that is the summer. We had planned many day activities around the amenities listed for the resort and surrounding resorts. It would have been a matter of courtesy on the rental property to just take a moment to let renters know that the resort was shut down during the time of our stay. We were looking at several dates and then could have made a more informed decision and our holiday would have been so much better.
Thankfully we are very resourceful women and able to find plan B for our days. Had already planned white water rafting - highly recommend Downstream Adventures in Idaho Springs, was fantastic. We went panning for gold and toured the Country Boy Mine in Breckenridge. Breckenridge was ideal and highly recommend a visit there with the lovely shops. Everything was open.
We did ask for a later check out than 10:00 am, but at a $30-$60 charge. Ummm really- that busy? Think not.
But overall would highly recommend the condo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It is the perfect size for our group of ladies. The one problem is the parking. We have 2 or 3 cars and parking down at the Kaystone Lodge lot is really not very desirable for a group of senior ladies. The parking garage was practically empty when we were there. What would be the problem in giving out a couple of extra passes?

We were in town for my step-daughter's wedding. The location could not have been more perfect. It was an excellent central location and walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. The accommodations were very comfortable and everyone had their own bathrooms as well. The only thing that could use some replacing at some point is maybe the carpeting. Other than that everything was very clean. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again in the future!

We have rented this location for 4 of the last 5 years and have always loved the location. Seems like the rental prices have increased dramatically over the last 5 years. While we rent this location, about 8-10 other rooms in the village are rented by friends and family for this weekend. Overall the experience is wonderful for everyone.

This condo was very comfortable for three couples. Kitchen was well stocked and overall it was a pleasant stay.
You are in the middle of the village and close to all the action and the very large balcony makes it great fun to watch what is going on. But be aware that being in the middle of the action also means that you will have noise at night. There was lots of yelling and screaming in the wee hours as drunks made their way home. May not be a problem in the winter but in the summer it is necesssary to have your windows open since there is no air conditioning.

So great place to stay but be forewarned about possible noise during the night.

This is the fifth or sixth time we have stayed in Buffalo Lodge. The unit is three bedrooms but only comes with 1 garage permit. I understand this policy during ski season but in the summer there are dozens of empty spots int eh garage and 1 pass for 3 br's is not reasonable. Charging a deposit for parking passes for the free overflow lot is absurd.

Thank you for the feedback. We manage the individual vacation rental. Keystone Resort and the HOA, both of which we are not affiliated, manage parking in Keystone. We do our best to pass along information about parking so guests can avoid fines and tows. We're glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise!

Staff was fantastic! Maintenance was super! Would recommend to anyone. Construction going on below our deck, sometimes noisey, but lodge was very comfortable & thankful for the private laundry.

This condo is beautiful. We only had one issue and that is I believe we should have been notified that keystone was completely torn up with no restaurants or shops open. We schedule our family vacations so we can park the car and enjoy a weekend walking .. we would have chosen a different
weekend had we known.

Great location and easy check in. We had problems with the keys and received prompt response from management. Furnishings a little dated but overall clean and well equipped, however beds are not very comfortable.

Great Unit; Great Deck; Great Location; Nice hot tubs on the bldg's ground floor. A few issues - very squeaky dryer. Broken springs in living room chair. Coffee maker was not hot & leaks when pouring. Power outlets struggled to hold cell phone & computer charging cables.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the deck - a huge plus in the summer. We hope to rent this condo again in the future.

Summit County Mountain Retreats was wonderful to work with - extremely attentive, kind, offered to send maintenance, called us back immediately, etc.

We did have a few issues with cleanliness, broken screens, sliding door broken, cigarette butts stuck between deck boards, dirty dishes, dirty counters, dirty kitchen drawers, and a few other items. This rental could use a really solid scrub-down, new carpet and paint-job in the near future.

The beds and linens were wonderful, location perfect, very comfortable overall.

Amazing condo with perfect views! Virtually everything you need is provided! Only issues we experienced was the washer/dryer squeaked horribly and didn't dry well. Other than that, amazing place!!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location could not be better. The lodge is very clean and comfortable. My friends and I were there for a wedding and had a blast. Summit County was very accommodating to all of our needs. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Great spot for our girls weekend! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook big meals. The patio overlooked the village activities which was a treat for people watching. Sunday morning there was a little kid's strider bike race...will be back with the grandkids next time.

This location works so perfect for my family. Our family goes yearly to Keystone and love staying in this property. We can walk down the plaza day or night and feel totally safe. We will always try to return. Love it!

It was nice to have 3 bedrooms AND 3 bathrooms. The condo was clean and furniture in pretty good shape. My biggest complaint is the pots & pans. They are beyond scratched - it's more like gouged. I didn't feel safe using any of them. You really need to replace them. The oversized deck came in handy for entertaining when the whole fam came over. It was nice to have our place be the "meeting place." All in all, very nice condo. Just needs some updates in the kitchen.

We were thrilled with this condo. There was plenty of space for everyone. The deck is incredible, a beautiful sunny spot for your morning coffee while checking out the village below. It's a quick walk to the gondola. I'd highly recommend this place.

This place was perfect. three bedrooms with three bathrooms, which was very nice. 5 buddies came out for a quick 4 day trip. Place is clean, nicely decorated and walking distance to slopes. The village is pretty fun place until around 8 pm and then it dies down. wish there was more nightlife in River run.

Great location within River Run village. Walk to Gondola, restaurants, shopping.
Condo had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable, living area very comfortable. One of the chairs near fireplace seemed to have a broken support in seat. "Initial supply" of coffee is provided. Take inventory of items before you go to grocery.
The unit overlooks Village, but the balcony isn't useable as the chairs were covered in snow.
Ski locker downstairs was useful, but 1 locker really doesn't fit gear for 6 skiers/boarders. We had to take gear to room.
Gym is in attached lodge and is not free.
Lobby area has TV and pool table, next to outdoor hot tubs.
Plan ahead for dinner as most places do not take reservations and have long wait times.

This place was great to stay at. I don't think I have stayed anywhere nicer. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of kitchenware. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

We stayed here for our son's wedding at Keystone. It has an amazing patio which allows you to look out over the entire village. We had the rehearsal dinner at Zuma, so it was the perfect location for carrying decorations and flowers over to the restaurant. Nice layout and three bathrooms.

This was a great condo for our family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone and close proximity to the gondola and all of the restaurants. The only bad side was the crowd noise on Friday night in the common area. We had the windows open to enjoy the cool summer breeze at night and the 1:00 bar crowd was a little loud on Friday evening.

Perfect family getaway -- this time during off-season. Enormous deck with tons of seating, overlooking village shops and restaurants. Well-appointed, very clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be back!

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. If I had one request I just wished they had a BBQ pit on the balcony. Other than that anyone who stay hear won't be disappointed.
