The unit itself is great. Well-stocked, clean, spacious. Great location. No complaints. Easy to communicate. The negatives had nothing to do with the individual unit or the owners.A two-location check-in process is not ideal.Swimming pool water heat level could be improved as well as the bogus “we need to close the pool early because the lights don’t work.” They don’t? In the two weeks ahead we were notified of it, the property manager couldn’t find somebody to plug in the lights that we saw were working or fix the ones that (allegedly) were not? Come on. Fix it or show me you are trying to fix it. Otherwise, it just looks like an excuse to cheapen out the people staying there in non-peak times.

Thank you for your detailed feedback—we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the unit itself and found it clean, spacious, and well-stocked. It’s great to know communication was smooth and the location worked well for your stay. We appreciate you sharing your concerns about the check-in process and pool access. While these aspects are managed outside of the individual unit, we understand how they can impact the overall experience. Your comments about the pool lighting and temperature are especially helpful, and we’ll be sure to pass them along to the appropriate team to encourage improvements. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better experience next time. scmr

Visited Keystone for a girls weekend and this condo rental was excellent. Clean. Great location. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. Box fans were provided which was a nice addition. Iron and ironing board. 2 blow dryers. Easy check-in and responsive to questions and concerns. Common fire pit was not working is the only issue we had.Hot tub at night was great!

It’s great to know check-in was smooth and our team was responsive throughout your stay. We appreciate the heads-up about the common fire pit and will look into getting that resolved. And we couldn’t agree more — ending the day with a soak in the hot tub is always a treat! We'd love to host you again for another fun and relaxing getaway. 💫

Our family had a memorable and positive experience with this property. However, a few items that could be addressed/upgraded to make an even better experience for guests: -king size bed in primary bedroom -appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer) excessively loud, unable to use when enjoying time in common area -smoke detector too close to oven, sets alarm off unnecessarily

We thoroughly enjoyed the views from every window overlooking the slope. We highly recommend staying here. We plan to book here again for our next ski trip. Our only issue, which was minimal, was the coffee maker didn't work. My husband remedied this issue with a short walk into the village each morning for coffee and hot chocolate.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let's talk about how plush the location of this condo is. 10 steps from the elevator, 10 steps to slopeside views, 30 steps to the hill. If you were any closer to on mountain, people would knock you down as they come whizzing down the run out to River Run. I felt a little like a jerk as I pulled off the run before the lift to take off my gear on slope and walk the 30 steps back to the building, but then I would laugh and remember how awesome REAL ski in/ski out really is. I worked remotely from this condo for a week, and would take my meetings on the deck facing the slope, and sneak out between meetings - it took me longer to get on my gear than it did to get on snow. At night, the lit views of the mountain and the snowcats were magical. This condo is spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The amenities are all true as listed - the kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook dinner in, the open concept layout allows people to be doing different things, but still be together - all while enjoying the 24/7 view of the mountain. As far as property management goes, I rarely give 5 stars here because I've yet to encounter a company that does little more than the bare minimum. SCMR absolutely destroyed the competition - their communication with me leading up to and during my stay was frequent and prompt. I texted them a few time with questions, and they responded quickly, sometimes within a minute or two. My flight got in early on a Sunday, and took a flyer and called about an early check in - they answered the phone (on a Sunday!) and then promised to do what they could, and would call me if they could get me in early. I wasn't expecting anything further, but they actually called me back and got me in early. I love everything about this condo and have stayed in it 3 times this year, and will definitely stay again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A+++ location for access to Keystone Ski Resort and River Run shopping area. Spacious two bedroom with all the amenities you would expect in a condo at this location. Decent deck space that would be fantastic during ski season to watch the excitement on River Run. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Sleeping 8 would make it tight, with 4 people in bedroom 2 and 6 people primarily using one bathroom, but with kids would be doable. A family of 4 or 5 would find plenty of room.

This building is probably the best location at Keystone, right on the main slope by the River Run gondola. Ski in ski out. Clean unit, spacious, balcony overlooking the slopes. The elevator was broken during the stay so hauling luggage up and down the steps was difficult. Besides that it was perfect.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lone Eagle is right next to the slope, the ski lockers work well. The heated garage is nice and its easy to get your gear up the elevator to the condo. This condo was nice, view of the slope, and has everything you need. We cooked in a lot.Maintenance needed: the oven door does not shut tight and the thermostat may be off - we had to set the temp 100 degrees high to cook, so this was frustrating to figure out. Also, the smoke alarm close to the oven went off with no smoke or noticeable issue - so that was a pain in the ***. This should be replaced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very easy to work with SCMR. The condo was clean, is well stocked with towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Note that everything in Keystone is closed down, so it is spooky quiet. The only thing I missed was that the lifts weren't running, but its a very minor point. We lucked into the peak color season and it was spectacular.

Very nice property in an amazing location. We skied during the day. On nights when there was not night skiing, we used the sleds in the condo to sled down the ski run which was right outside the door. Very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every aspect of the rental experience was perfect and as expected. My only complaint would be with Summit County Mountain Retreats. Overall, the experience with them was great, but at the end of my vacation I inquired about renting another of their properties for next Thanksgiving. I was told the pricing for next year hasn't been set yet, and I should try back in 3 months. I would personally be very upset if I owned one of the units, and had someone interested in renting it a year in advance, and the management company told them to try back in 3 months. I would expect someone to find a way to determine a rental fee a year in advance and get my rental property under contract if I were the property owner. I'm more likely to find something else and get it locked up, than wait 3 months for the property I inquired about. Thanks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first stay at Lone Eagle after having stayed in nearly every other complex in Keystone over the last ten years. The building has a great location, period, and the unit has a front row seat to the mountain. We especially loved the shaded pool and hot tub on hot summer days. The unit is very spacious and well equipped. The pictures and description are accurate. Previous reviews noted hard beds but they were fine. We did find a lot of minor repairs that need to be resolved, mainly electrical....lights, fans, switches, etc....but, don't let that discourage your impression, they can be easily resolved by the owner. We loved the large deck and watching the bike riders come down the hill and watching deer stroll across the ski run in the early evening. Access is great, elevator drops you off directly across from the entrance. We found the unit to be very quiet despite a busy holiday weekend. Overall, definitely 5/5 stars for any time of year and a wonderful solitude to slip away away for a few days. SCMR was very easy to book through and helpful with our questions. Everything went smoothly as it should.

Reviewer Comments: We rented 3 condo units in total celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our whole family. Accommodations were everything we expected and then some! Unfortunately my husband had a stroke on our 2nd full day and we experienced the excellent care of St. Anthony's Hospital in Frisco and Lakewood. We ended up all leaving a day early to head back to Texas. The family enjoyed the time we got to share in beautiful Keystone, Colorado.

There were a bunch of small issues in the condo, the hot water was almost impossible to regulate in the showers in both bathrooms, the under cabinet lighting in the kitchen was missing bulbs and the bulbs that did work weren't working properly so they kept going off and on, we couldn't close the window in the Master Bedroom and finally there were not any large frying pans or large pots so cooking for multiple people was very difficult. In a condo that sleeps 8, the kitchen needs to be adequately outfitted for cooking for 8 people.

The past few times we have made our reservations with Matt and he takes great care of us making sure everything goes just perfect. Plus the cute girls in the office are super nice too!! As far as this property goes it is very nice and everything is in great shape. We will stay here again without a doubt as soon as we can get back to keystone. Thanks SCMR!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this condo in the off-season, so the facility and the townsite was very quiet, which was fine for us. We skied at Arapahoe and were able to run to Dillon for any shopping needs, 5 minutes in either direction. The facility was well maintained and in a great location. Despite being off-season, we had full access to all amenities and the heat was still on in the pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location of this condo could not be any better. Faces the slopes & just a few yards from the ski lift. The condo itself was very nice. Plenty of room (we had 2 adults & 3 kids) and clean. Wish they would have had a few more cooking items (we needed a griddle, or larger skillet). The fire pit area was really nice & there was also a room off the "lobby" that had a desk, printer & Keurig coffee machine. Nice accommodations for the ski lockers, however, the locker wasn't quite big enough for 3 pairs of skis & 2 snowboards. Was very nice to have a parking garage, but be warned if you have a large vehicle, that the space is VERY tight. Garage doors are very narrow & might take a few tries of backing up to get back out of the garage. Overall very pleased with our stay & would definitely book here again.

The only thing I think I would fix would be how someone mounted the 55" TV. It is done sloppy with unprofessional wiring... Looks like a 10 year old mounted it. Would be nice to have HD receivers if you are going to have a large HD screen.
