Montezuma Condos #1754

This is a nice location and with some TLC would be a great little space. The upstairs room does just have an open window facing the inside of the house so do not expect privacy in either of the upstairs rooms. Also you have to walk through one room to get to the other. This unit seems to have not had any updates lately and several small things need fixed in it. We had a good stay and it worked for us but just felt like it would have been nice to know about the lack of privacy offered.

We do want to clarify for future guests that the listing photos accurately show the layout of the upstairs spaces. The loft-style design includes open interior windows and a pass-through bedroom configuration, which is common in mountain condos of this style. While this layout may not provide full privacy between the upstairs areas, we strive to present the space as transparently as possible through the photos so guests can determine if it will suit their needs. Stayed here during a conference with a co-worker. The place was nice, clean and very comfortable. Great views and balcony, however there was not outdoor furniture to sit on and enjoy. The place was very quiet during the time we were there. This would be a great place for larger family or couples. It had 4 beds. Lots of extra linens. Great location to the conference center. Very short walk. The only issue we had was the outlets in both bathrooms did not work and there is no elevator. Unfortunately, both my coworker and self-had injuries, so it made it hard going up/down to third floor. I would definitely consider staying here again.

What a beautiful place to stay while on a ski trip at Keystone. The house was clean and very nice. Perfect for our group of 10. The only thing I found inconvenient was with a condo of this size, we only had one parking space provided.

Thank you for your review! As much as we wish we could provide extra parking, HOAs in Keystone manage the parking for the buildings and create these limits so we are unable to go against their rules.

We came there in 3 cars. There is only one parking spot and the additional parking is 2 miles up in the valley. They lat us know about that after we paid.
Place is nice, servis terrible.
76 stairs to get to tha pool, no elevator for kids and grandparents it is pain.

Thank you for your review! This property does only allow one vehicle per HOA rules, but there is a parking lot directly across the street guests can use in the summer for free for any other vehicles! This property is also listed as a walk up and does not have an elevator to it on the second floor of the building.

Overall, I was quite happy with the accommodations. I decreased my rating because I expected availability of a washing machine, but it was out of order. My packing would have been different if I had known this before arriving. There also was not a single hot-pad for use in baking/cooking.

The stay was great, it is a beautiful apartment and excellent for a group.
2 negatives to report:
Washer and Dryer were not functional.. which as a group we were counting on to be able to clean laundry for our trip. This is an advertised feature and no alternative was provided when requested.
The hot tub in the facilities was disgusting. Not being able to see your feet in a body of water 3 feet deep is not a good sign.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean and was well maintained. Everyone was comfortable and it felt like home away from home. The views were really nice and we were steps away from the lake, river, mountains...perfect for walking, hiking or biking. Good food nearby.

This property looks great in the pictures, but as soon as we walked in, I realized the condo was in worn out shape. One of the bar stool seats was literally hanging from its base, the upholstered furniture was stained, the carpets were heavily worn, except for upstairs. We found crumbs all about the hardwood floors and a half eaten pop tart on a window sill. Every table, and some of the lamps were chipped and generally looked like they need to be donated to good will.
Management was very prompt in their responses to my complaints, but instead of offering solutions, they asked what I wanted them to do.
Our key didn't work to the pool, and instead of offering to drop one by, they said to come by the management office and pick a new one up.
The location is great, but FYI, the lake does not allow you to bring your own paddle board, you have to rent one of theirs for $40/hour.
Overall, we were pretty disappointed in this stay.

Thank you for your honest review. I am glad to see our maintenance teams were able to get this chair fixed during your stay! Unfortunately, the pool is managed by the HOA and they control these key cards, but since being notified that they stopped working we have been able to get new ones! I will also pass along these concerns to the housekeeping team here to ensure they make sure every clean is the best for each guest!

This is a beautiful property, although there were many things within the property that were broken or needed attention. There were chairs that were unusable due to needed to be tightened, smoke detectors that were not on the ceilings and lamps that were dirty and chipped. This condo has shown some use. The location was great!

Nice condo in good location but the management group is terrible! We arrived to the condo 30 mins after the 4:30pm check in time to find the cleaning crew hanging out on the couch. They did not rush to leave and after I asked them to they hung out on right outside my door for another 30 mins. I called Summit County Mountain Rentals to let them know and they apologized. After this I realized they did not actually clean the condo. The garbage from the previous renters was in the trash cans(gross), hair on the floors on the bathroom, carpet not vacummed in the bedrooms etc. The place was filthy and this made for a terrible start to our stay. I called back to explain the situation further and asked for a refund of my cleaning and disinfecting fee as the place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. They apologized and a manager would call me back that day. I texted the next 2 days for an update and on day 4 called again. I was assures a manager would call me back but yet still nothing....

We thank you for having taken the time to give us an evaluation of your stay. I’m very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We require all our housekeepers to start and stop jobs on their phone, the housekeepers were done at 5pm and had to be picked up by our staff at the property and were not in the unit past 5:05pm. We also require them to take pictures of the unit and based on the photos we have, there is no evidence of trash left in the unit or any cleanliness issues.

Inside the condo was nice and comfy. The beds were nice and firm. It is a older place that's been renovated. Nice pool and fun lil place by the pond. The main road was close by so u could hear every car noise which I did not like at all.
