We're sorry to see that you did not enjoy the condo! We would love to hear more so that we can pass this feedback along and improve future stays. We hope that you still enjoyed your time here in Summit County!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
My husband and I came to enjoy a few days in the mountain area. We found this condo to be a very nice option. The condo was as described, although the furniture is updated. The layout worked well esp for just the two of us. The only thing I would recommend would be to bring some cooking spray if you plan on cooking in.Anonymous from Fort Worth - Posted: 7/30/2024

Very nice clean condo. Close to Gondola. Far end of building so long walk to hot tub/pool. Towels in bathrooms old and coarse. Shower took a very long time to heat. Fireplace timer did not shut off. Check-in instructions link did not work so I called the office, and they sent a slightly different link that worked.Anonymous from Oak Creek - Posted: 4/7/2024
We are grateful that you took the time out to leave us a review. Your feedback helps us to improve service for everyone.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The unit had everything we needed and we loved the rental but the temperature in the unit was extremely hot. The thermostat was turned off the entire time and the temperature read 78. It was difficult for everyone to sleep at night because of the warm temps without cracking window. We reached out to the rental company and they said to look for another thermostat but offered no other solution. I would have given 5 Stars if the temperature issue was resolved. Also, the master tub was clogged when we arrived and we let them know.Anonymous from Castle Rock - Posted: 1/3/2024

It was close to the gondola which we appreciated. Overall, it was a good stay. The unit is a bit outdated and there were a few maintenance issues such the windows not working properly and the closet door in the second bedroom was off the hinges. We didn’t use the community amenities so couldn’t speak to the condition or quality of these facilities. I’d say here again.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 9/26/2022
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We will have our team look at the issues you have reported, thanks for the feedback. Come stay with us again!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
As a former condo owner in River Run I am very familiar with the condos built in the early 2000s there. This unit is convenient and the price was a reasonable value but #2267 does not appear to ever have been updated in 20 years. Like other River Run condos there is no AC and no overhead fans so they can be quite hot at night during the summer time. While the master did cool down the second BR was hot even with a very noisy box fan in the window. The picture that is shown conveniently excludes the large round kitchen table that takes up a good portion of the living room. It is clearly way too oversized for such a small unit. I would recommend this property to a friend only if willing to put up with the above and not in the summertime.Anonymous from Dallas - Posted: 7/20/2022
Thank you for leaving us your honest review. Unfortunately the majority of properties in Summit County do not have A/C. However we do have tips in our guide book on how to cool down the unit.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
We had a great stay at #2267. The space was nicer and larger than the photos made it appear! It was well stocked with everything we needed. Location was perfect with a short walk to the gondola and to everything there was to do at River Run. My kids had fun playing pool and board games in the lobby and we enjoyed the pool and hot tubs nightly!Anonymous from Easley - Posted: 4/19/2022

The unit is in desperate need for updating. Couch sags , holes in the chandilier shades.Only one burner on the stove works.Anonymous from Atlanta - Posted: 3/29/2022

The rental location is great, walking distance from Gondola. We were extremely disappointed that the billiards balls were gone as one of the reasons we rented here was for the game room for my kids. When inquiring everyone seemed to blame everyone else. The property blamed the property managers who blamed the HOA. The steam room was also broken.Anonymous from Broomfield - Posted: 2/20/2022
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location of the rental, but we are sorry that some of the building amenities were not available to you during your stay. We are the property managers for the specific unit that you rented, whereas the HOA of the building manages building amenities, such as common areas, pool, steam room, etc. When a guest reports a building issue, we gladly reach out to the HOA to notify them so they can address the issues. We do like to let the guest know that it is the HOA's responsibility to address these items since it is beyond our control and therefore we have no timeline on when it will be addressed. We understand that building amenities are very desirable and we are sorry to hear that these items were not available during your stay. We have followed up with the Community Association Manager for the Red Hawk Lodge about the billiard's balls and steam room to ensure action is taken. We hope to have you back soon as a guest of Summit County Mountain Retreats.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

The accommodation was great. Good furniture, size, supplies and clearness.
Picking up our keys was a bit cumbersome, since it should be done a couple of miles from our rental. Great experience overall.Anonymous from Oldsmar - Posted: 12/13/2021
Thanks for your comments and for having selected our property. We happy that you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to provide check-in materials on-site at the Red Hawk Lodge, but thankfully our office is just 2 minutes from the lodge! We hope to have you back soon as a guest of Summit County Mountain Retreats.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Would definitely recommend this place to stay. It was very spacious. Loved that our 2 older teen boys had their own room and bathroom to share. Will consider this if we were to go during ski season.
The only wonky that we had to pick up the key cards were in a totally different location.Anonymous - Posted: 8/10/2021
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at Summit County Mountain Retreats. We take pride in knowing our customers are happy with their experience. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the check in process. Unfortunately, the building HOA does not allow us to keep a check in location on property. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you and hope to see you again soon.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Had a great vacation in Keystone. Location is outstanding. Unit is nice. Living room and kitchen are smaller than they appear, but very adequate. Had the TV not working when we checked in, but management quickly fixed the problem. Had no hot water for about 1 hour one day, and no water the next morning for a couple of hours, otherwise a really great place to stay.

We are thrilled to have you as part of the SCMR family! Thank you for sharing your kind words with us. It means the world to us and to our entire team! Unfortunately, the building was experiencing an emergency water shut off to complete a repair. This repair has since been completed. We do our best to notify guests of these shut offs when we are aware of them but in this instance we were not provided with additional warning, we apologize for the inconvenience this caused your group.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
We spent the entire month of June in this unit and it was great. The pool is only for the Red Hawk Lodge and thus not too busy. The internet was reliable and fast and so working from home was easy.Anonymous from Oakwood - Posted: 7/16/2021

We enjoyed the condo and how close it was to the gondola. It is a 5 minute walk to the village area for shopping and dining. My only suggestions are the finishes (wood trim, cabinets) in the condo, while nice, are somewhat beat up, and are showing their age. Some updates might be in order. With that said, everything worked and the kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the stay.Anonymous from Northville - Posted: 4/7/2021
We had a great stay at the Red Hawk Lodge in Keystone! The unit was a simple walk to River Run and the restaurants. The unit was well-stocked and included some “extra” items that we always appreciate - humidifiers, crock pot, and Yahtzee! The unit had all of cookware needed, but some non-stick pans would have been nice. We cooked in a lot due to COVID and it’s hard to find enjoyment scrubbing non-stick pans on vacation! The text message communication with the staff was very helpful and offered a quick answers to some of our concerns and questions. All in all... it was a great week in Keystone!Anonymous from Chattanooga - Posted: 2/23/2021
We stayed during an increased spike in COVID cases and couldn't of been more impressed with the care and cleanliness of the condo. The check-in was seamless and they even let us check-in early without an additional charge.
The location is GREAT. You are steps from the Keystone Village just below River Run trail that ends at the high-speed quad/gondola that brings you back to the top of the mountain. The Keystone village is accessible and easy to navigate; it has delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner -- and dessert too! We ate at Kickapoo Tavern, The Crepe Place, Luigi's Pastahouse and Montezuma Roadhouse... just to name a few. They also have a local grocery store if you'd like to make food at the condo (which has a full kitchen).
We came during a severe spike in COVID and had to make reservations for the pool/hot tub. We were impressed by the care and cleanliness of the pool and hot tub AND the simple fact it wasn't just closed. As anyone who ski's/snowboards.... a hot tub after a day on the mountain is a fantastic way to end the day. We reserved a time @ 6pm and had the hot tub and pool ALL to ourselves for the whole hour. It felt very clean and very safe.
The condo itself had everything you'd want. Two bedrooms, both with king beds and their own separate full bathrooms. Full kitchen with a working fireplace and a balcony to the outside and a descent view of the surrounding area.
5 star recommendation. We had a great time!Anonymous from Raleigh - Posted: 12/14/2020
This place is really nice and cozy. Very close to everything in Keystone and specially the Gondolas which my son loved to go to. I would recommend this to anyoneAnonymous from Richmond - Posted: 11/12/2020

This River Run condo in Keystone was perfect. I took two of my daughters skiing for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute. It had easy access to the amenities that the resort offered like the pool and hot tub. It was a easy walk to Keystones gondola and River Run shops and restaurants.Anonymous from Westminster - Posted: 2/26/2020

Exceptional condo in beautiful Keystone COAnonymous from Cameron Park - Posted: 8/16/2019
We were mostly satisfied with our experience with Red Hawk Lodge and Summit County Mountain Retreats, but it wasn't perfect. They gave good instructions in the web pages and emails. We were able to find the key box and condo easily. The 4:00 check-in would have delayed us, but it fortunately turned out the room was ready a bit early. The underground parking was OK, but one of our keys didn't work on the garage (or on the outside doors). The room was clean and equipped as described. Much quieter than some of the other condos we have rented in Keystone! The two of us in the master suite were satisfied, but the other two guests were not: We only got 3 keys (and one key did not work in the outside door). We were told that we could only use the garage for one car. The guest bath had towels, but no soap, shampoo, conditioner, the shower was cold and the hair dryer didn't work. In fairness, we didn't think it was worth calling to complain, so we don't know if it would have been made better. We would stay again.Anonymous from Laramie - Posted: 7/30/2019
Staying in the village was fun and relaxing, even in the summer. The pool area is small, but functional and clean. Location is great, near plenty of hiking, great views of lake Dillon, and a short drive to Breckenridge.Anonymous - Posted: 7/15/2019
We loved the location of the condo, it was a very easy walk to everything. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The only complaints we had where the beds in both bedrooms were very hard, so if your used to a soft bed, after a long of skiing you may find the beds uncomfortable, we found them not easy to sleep in. Also the thermostat in the condo seemed to be broke and the temperature was not able to be controlled and the unit stayed a little to warm.
But all in all it was a nice condo.Anonymous from Pearland - Posted: 3/25/2019
3 day ski tripAnonymous - Posted: 3/19/2019
We enjoyed are time--the 2 bedrooms were good and very nice to have new soft high quality sheets. Wish the fire place worked, but the kids enjoyed going down to play foosball and billiards-and we tried the outside heated pool and hottub with fire pit a few steps away. At 2 degrees it was an experience! Would stay again. The townhomes inside the gate look great but are more expensive and you have to walk outside to get to the game room.Anonymous from Pearland - Posted: 3/6/2019
A very comfortable apartment, close to all facilities.Anonymous from Nassau - Posted: 2/8/2019
Great 2 BR excellent location 100 yards to gondola nice hot tubs and pool for after skiing. One downer was inoperable fireplace had to call mAnagement 3 times which never relieved the issue and no compensation was given to our party. After a long day on the hill a warm fireplace would have been great.

Short weekend ski trip. The place was nice. Needs a little updating but for us it was fine. Garage parking was a plus. Close to restaurants, bars and ski lift. Only thing would have been better if we could of left car in garage on last day while we skied. No way to do it because you need key to get in building.Anonymous from Oak Lawn - Posted: 12/26/2018

It was a great location and lovely unit. I was wise to have two BR and 2 BA to accomodate our needs.. The walk to the slopes was close. We just needed better snowto be a 10. I loved the soap so much that we ordered some and found out it benefits others! Nice!Anonymous from Pittsburgh, - Posted: 1/22/2018

Very happy with this condo and building. Red Hawk has a great outdoor area with a heated pool, two hot tubs, fire pit and large grill. We enjoyed playing pool in the lobby, too. The size of this unit is perfect for our family of five and the pull out couch is by by far the most comfortable pull out couch that I have ever slept in. I would definitely come here again.Anonymous from NA - Posted: 12/5/2017
Very reasonable price- for the money it was great. After booking was notified that pool and hot tub were being renovated. This information should be provided beforehand.Anonymous from Fort Morgan - Posted: 9/19/2017
We were staying in the Red Hawk property for six days with our 3-year old grandson. We were very happy with the location of the condo and the proximity to the village, gondolas, trails, and other activities. There was only one inconvenience, which was the very noisy street close by the condo. The windows of our condo faced the Montezuma Road. We could hear the cars driving late into the night and very early in the morning. Also, at the time of our stay the swimming pool in this complex was under the maintenance. We had to walk to a different building to enjoy the last warm days of the summer. In the kitchen, there is no decent cutting knife. Maybe not as important detail, but we thought was good to know if you plan on cooking. Other than that we were very happy with the condo.Anonymous from Louisville - Posted: 9/14/2017
Everything was neat and clean in the place. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook. Great place to stay.Anonymous - Posted: 8/6/2017

The place worked out great for 2 couples.
Loved the condo & the area.
The only issue we had was when we first got there the fridge was not cold and the condo was hot. We didn't get there until 9:00 PM all windows closed 86 degrees inside. In the morning the fridge was coldAnonymous from Webster - Posted: 6/13/2017
Great stay! My friends and I stayed one night at this cozy place and we loved it. The bedrooms were very comfy and everything was very clean. We wanted to make some smoothies and thought there was a blender in the condo but we couldn't find any. So that was the only thing missing. Everything else was great and we would love to stay another time.Anonymous from ARVADA - Posted: 5/1/2017

It was at a decent location and it was at 4 star level. I didn't say 5 because not all towels were clean and few sheets (One - we pulled out for Living room couch Bed) We had 5 members so, one slept outside. Plus I ordered Oxygen but I didn't get any and first night was impossible for some of us to breath, that was really tuff. This was our first trip at this altitude. We did do our cleaning and threw away garbage and also setup the way we got it, except few dirty towels that we did use.Anonymous from cordova - Posted: 3/8/2016
