We came from Denver and just wanted something easy for a couple of days of skiing before Christmas. The size of the condo was good for the short stay and the pull out sofa was comfortable for our kids. The location is great, easy to get to slopes and all the shops in the village. Also appreciated the heated parking and access to the Dakota pool and hot tubs.

My husband and I stayed four nights in this one bedroom condo which was well stocked with everything we needed to cook as that is what we did. We don't eat out alot and they had all kinds of crock pots, a tea pitcher, plates, and everything we needed. The location was great for a rested get a way and the hot tub was great....there were 2 side by side and one was lukewarm while the other hot so we were able to get in the hot one and then transfer to the cooler one and stay at hot tub for an hour which is much longer than you normally get to due to the temperature. Very nice place to stay...oh and the bed was like laying on cotton for softness and the sheets were so comfortable and soft. Would stay here again 100x over.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I got hit by an out of control teenage snow boarder on our very first run and suffered a concussion, so I did not ski and spent all week in the condo and it was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen was nicely stocked and big enough to cook big meals and serve buffet style. We left the sofa bed open so 2 people could lay on it and another be in the chair with their feet up while we watched tv. We played cards around the table. Besides the concussion, it was a great experience, good location and management very helpful with getting the parking pass before our check in time.

We had it rented and a few days out, the owner needed it and to shorten the entire process, the owner of the rental and the property management company worked with us for a very nice (a bit of an upgrade) stay in a different location. The rental company was great to work with. The stay in the different location was amazing, just as we would've expected the stay in this location to be.

One of the two elevators has been out of service since summer (my wife stayed in same building in June) which is a hassle in the morning. Biggest issue is the same for all rentals. Must every piece of cooking equipment be the cheapest thing available? Mr. Coffee makes ****** coffee and yet it is every condo I rent. Can we get a sharp knife to cook with?

We loved the condo! It was exactly as it was presented on the website. This was our first VRBO. We were very skeptical in the beginning- but now we are hooked! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, extra blankets to cuddle on the couch with while enjoying the fireplace! Although Keystone is a “ski town”, and we are not skiers, we found lots to do. There are miles of trails to walk and great fishing close by. We will definitely rent from you again!

The apartment was fine, well stocked with necessities for cooking, towels, linens etc. The entire property did have some issues. Outside the door was a trash can collecting water from a pipe leak. The basement was undergoing a cleaning and parking space stripe. One day the water was shut off from 9-4, which prevented a hot shower after skiing. All of the commercial spaces attached to the condos were closed for the end of season. We didn’t let these things bother us. Other than that it was very comfortable.

My husband and I spend a week at this Keystone Rental. It is a great location on the mountain. Plenty of parking in the underground garage and luggage carts available to help you transport your stuff. Ski lockers are also included which is a nice addition.
You can walk out the condo to an entire village of shops, restaurants and bars. The Gondola is also a very walkable distance.
The condo was great. Furniture was in good clean condition, bed was comfortable and the kitchen has everything you will need for cooking full meals.
I would highly recommend this rental.

This was the perfect space for a four day stop in Colorado. The location couldn't have been better, especially mid-week during the summer (it was quiet). Best part, you can walk right out into River Run and you're only steps from two coffee shops.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from a 4 night stay at Silver Mill. I had stayed at the Dakota Lodge previously, and I preferred the lobby area and location of Silver Mill to Dakota. The unit we had (#8268) was perfect for me and my two small boys. Compared to our friend's unit on the 2nd floor, this 4th floor unit had an extended (breakfast bar area with window) and well-stocked kitchen that made the unit feel much larger than a one-bedroom. I also preferred this unit to others I considered because it has counterspace /drawers in the bathroom as opposed to a pedestal sink. The bedding was comfy - we didn't try the pull out couch. The customer service from Summit County Mountain Retreats was excellent - we arrived early in the morning, and they DO offer early check-ins for a very small, reasonable fee, if the unit is available. Ours was not, but they offered to call us as soon as it was, and in the meantime, offered us parking passes and access to the common areas. When the unit was ready (around 1pm), they called us to let us know. The office/lockbox for picking up keys is very convenient to River Run. I had one request while I was there, and the customer service team was quite responsive, very friendy and they were able to resolve the need. The ONLY con about this unit is that is it on the parking lot side of the building, so for those who like to sleep past 7am, there will be a noise issue (delivery trucks beeping, etc.). However, the unit had a large box fan, and we realized that by turning that on at night, we slept a ton better. Also, I think that by just updating the couch and the breakfast table chairs, this unit would feel 100% fresher. Thanks for a great stay!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay at the Silver Mill property. We were very happy with all aspects of our trip. The only criticism is perhaps the pillows could be upgraded a little and the pull-out mattress checked for sturdiness to improve sleeping conditions. The folks at SCMR were great.

Reviewer Comments: The rental agreement was intimidating and difficult to sign but the unit was just as described no problems, excellent location, short walk to the slopes, very short walk, no one is any closer, parking was a big plus, As you watch a steady stream of cars coming into Keystone you walk out the door and right to the slopes and gondola, lots to do in the River Run village, enough happy hours to make it very reasonably priced, River run is also the most desirable areas at Keystone. Ate breakfast at cafe in the gateway strip mall behind the River Run complex, the best place for groceries is right there also, if you are going to do any serious cooking I recommend bringing food up from one the bigger towns not much within the area. We made toast and omelet each morn, All the restaurant are good, Snake River Saloon next to Christies ski rental, had excellent sandwiches, happy hour, and steaks where reasonably priced $10 off internet coupon, recommend at least one visit, also make a very good Bloody Mary, watched Super Bowl at Mexican place next to summit office, also good pricing during happy hour took summit shuttle from River run. if you are looking for a very nice local ski mountain check out A Basin, hard to describe why but it was a very pleasant place to ski, so glad we went, another place to warm up about half way from DIA is Loveland New peak 6 at Breckinridge was awesome both A basin and peak 6 have above the timberline skiing which is like skiing on the moon. if you haven,'t been able to tell yet we had an excellent time and great skiing at a very nice rental unit that we found to be very reasonably priced with great common areas, 25 percent discount off ski rentals brings the cost to under $20 day
