Trapper's Crossing #8761

This host was very accommodating. An accessibility issue presented itself with our initial booking and. The host was able to move us to a different property that worked well for our group. This property was beautiful and just far enough away from river run village that you had privacy but close enough you could drive or get a shuttle to be there in 3 minutes. We also were traveling with a toddler and baby and were presently surprised by accommodations for them in the property (high chair, pack n play, and to our toddlers amazement a training potty)! The property was right on a beautiful bike path, just a short walk to a creek, and a nice nature path/ short hike. We really enjoyed this space and the hosts responded promptly to any questions or concerns.

My girlfriends and I Loved staying here. It was easy to locate, super comfortable and well appointed, and the best part is that it was literally on top of the bus stop to the village. So easy! The one downside was the hot tub, honestly pictured as it is, but we found it small, unappealing and not overly hot. It is managed by the HOA, not the condo owner. Also, one of the master suites had a faulty thermostat. The owner was contacted and always replied in a prompt manner, but nothing was ever resolved. Even after someone stopped by. All in all, I would return! Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic location! Bus service was great and so close to the unit with all our ski gear. The space worked great for our family of 6. This place was so well stocked!! We didn’t have any young children but if you do this is the place to stay. Friendly quick, clear communication! We will definitely stay again!

The property was perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of room for hanging out together to talk or play games, while also enough room to just relax. We had a great stay at this lovely home! The location was perfect: just steps away from the free Keystone shuttle stop, 5 min drive to Keystone, nearby small shops and restaurants, 15 mins from larger nearby town of Dillon with more restaurant options. It was well maintained, clean, well stocked, more than enough room for our group of 6 (could easily fit more comfortably), and really had no complaints. Great communication with the hosting company (felt more corporate than your typical VRBO host), with a nice detailed digital guestbook. We did not have a chance to checkout the hot tub or other amenities.

We loved this condo! It's right next to a river in a remote location. We hiked around a lot. The condo itself is great - clean, everything working, great layout, lots of room for our group. The pool area is really nice, but you have to drive there. One thing that is a bummer is the 4:30pm check-in time with the 10am check-out time. I wish check-in was a little earlier or check-out was a little later.

Loved this stay! We had a bigger group skiing Keystone and loved the convenience of being able to walk across the street to take the free Powderline black shuttle from the parking lot to the slopes! The host was responsive via text and the guide they emailed before the stay had all the info you needed.
Only negative: on one of the days the hot tub was locked. We called and they said that it shouldn’t be locked and they’d unlock it but after 30 minutes we checked and it was still locked. :(
Overall enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again if I had a big group!

This was a great condo for our family at Keystone Colorado. We were located very close to the gondola for skiing so the location was great. Also close to restaurants. It was just like it was pictured love the fact that it had four bedrooms it was well equipped with everything you would ever need in the kitchen. The only thing that was negative in my opinion was to check in and check out time. I feel like it should be more like a hotel check in at three check out at 11 or 12. We did check out late but had to pay $10 for each bedroom for one extra hour. No one wants to get up at the crack of dawn, and start packing and leaving without even being able to sit around for a cup of coffee. Some thing I know it’s difficult because of the cleaning but I think you just need to think about it and hire more cleaners.Thank You. It was excellent.

Love the convenience to enjoy so many mountain towns within 20-40 minutes and yet feel we are surrounded by nature. Easily slept our family, 8 adults. The only downside I could see, may be time for new mattresses. Otherwise, very clean and beautiful.

Our time at Keystone was wonderful which started with the solid foundation of staying at 8761 Trapper's Crossing. The rental property was perfect for our sleeping situation with two master bedrooms and two kids bedrooms given that we were 2 families with a total of 5 kids.
The staff at Mountain View reached out in a non-intrusive way on day 2 for anything that might need to be addressed with the rental. This turned into a very convenient handful of exchanges when dealing with minor issues with the home and a left item on the back end of our rental period. The staff was very helpful each time we interacted.
The home was ~2 miles away from the gondola for skiing and extremely close to the free shuttle bus. We had a car to move our families and skies to/from the mountain (to the free parking lot near the gondola), but we would have been OK without a car, too, given the proximity to the shuttle bus stop.
The only two minor issues we had, and they were understandable given the circumstances, were: 1) The hot tub on property was closed due to Covid. However, Mountain View Resorts provided a backup hot tub option but it was several miles away and not convenient enough to be worth the effort.
2) We were two families (kids ages 11-14) visiting and skiing together. The downstairs neighbor was bothered by our noise level but we were not making excessive noise so the floors/walls must not be very well sound insulated. After a few confrontations, we felt like we needed to "walk on egg shells" in a quiet manner for the rest of our time there to respect the neighbor(s). All in all, neither of these were huge detriments to our stay, but a potential renter with a must haves of a hot tub and free rein on noise levels should be aware.

A few things I would like to touch on. -there was no soap in the bathrooms-the shower in the second bedroom upstairs faucet was hard to use and needs to be replaced. - the hot tub was closed due to covid- but the hot tubs in other areas were open. So that doesn’t make sense. But overall it was a great place and really enjoyed our time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was super clean and everything we needed was available to us. There were a lot of activities available in the area (July). Our favorite was the 12 mile bike ride that ended in Frisco. We also went up the ski lift (wear a jacket) and went to the Continental Divide. Dillon was really close and had a lot of places to eat, Walgreens, grocery stores, etc., if you want more options than what was available in Keystone. We had a lot of fun having all our adult children and their spouses/boyfriend together in 1 place. The condo had great Wifi (husband had to check in with work) and tv (play video games). There were places to hike nearby. There was only 1 drawback and that was the limit of 2 parking spaces. Since our adult children came from Denver, Lubbock and Fort Worth, we had 3 cars. This was a great place and a great experience and I would love to go back!

Good communication from the property management team. Close to River Run and their activities. very large appt/condo - 1600 sq ft provided plenty of space for 5 adults. Would definitely stay here again
