Thanksgiving On The Slopes!
Here's a suggestion for your positive review of the condo on the ski slopes: --- **Title: Perfect Ski Getaway!** I recently stayed at this fabulous condo on the ski slopes, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! The location is absolutely ideal—just steps away from the lifts, making it super convenient for hitting the slopes early in the morning. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy. It had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a stunning view of the mountains. After a long day of skiing, we loved unwinding by the fireplace. Excellent stay!!- Reviewed On: 11/30/2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the perfect size for a couple that wants to get away. Since it faces towards the river, the noise from the mountain events, which is on the opposite side, can't be heard. It's nice to have the two bathrooms and it was really close to the elevators that go to the parking garage. We really enjoyed our stay at this place and would do it again.- Reviewed On: 7/9/2024

Perfect place to snowboard at Keystone with 2 people
Steps from the lift, uncrowded hot tub and pool, dedicated ski lockers. Quiet except for nearby construction (to be expected). Parking is easy. Very well stocked kitchen. Only negatives would be the elevator is SLOW. But we took the stairs. The heater is a little slow, but the fireplace makes up for it. Everything was in order and very clean. I’d stay there again in a second.- Reviewed On: 3/27/2024

Perfect Keystone Condo
We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay. This condo is in a great location with just a short walk (down a snow-cleared sidewalk) to River Run Village. Parking, for 1 car, in a heated garage, was included as well. We had a few small housekeeping issues upon check-in, however, after sending an email, the issues were corrected the very next morning, much appreciated. Easy check-in/out, easy-to-follow directions for retrieving the keys, although off the property. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator worked fine throughout our stay. We will most certainly return and will recommend it to family and friends.- Reviewed On: 1/18/2024

Location was fantastic
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first true ski in/ski out experience where we walked out of the back of the hotel and put our skis to ski to the lift. That was a nice touch. The property management company communicated very well and were helpful throughout the week. the check-in process was easy and the office was simple to find. The room was a perfect size for two people. Having the ski locker downstairs and covered parking were both very helpful, and there was also an EV charging station in the parking garage we could use for a normal fee. The refrigerator needs some love in the unit. It froze anything that was in the top of the refrigerator (it helped putting things in the lower door shelf), and the water/icemaker didn't work (it says the part has been on order since 3/6/2023, and we visited in 12/2023). The other thing that was a little frustrating was the elevator in the building, which is so incredibly slow. I wish the stairs were closer to the lockers. Neither of these things were a major issue for us.- Reviewed On: 12/21/2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at Lone Eagle 2-3 times a summer (we’re not skiers, so can’t comment on what it’s like during winter). Always refreshing, as the location is quiet but close enough to everything Keystone and Summit County has to offer. Unit was great for the two of us. Clean, nice furniture, king size bed, plenty of dishes, etc. And, Summit County Mountain Retreats makes everything from reservation to checkin/checkout easy and convenient. The room was really nice but the heat source didn’t seem to work I played with the thermostat for awhile, no big deal tho between being on the top floor and the fire place we stayed warm enough. Condo in Lone Eagle
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 1 bedroom condo worked great for us.Love the ski in and ski out feature. The carpet is getting worn in the bathroom where it meets the vinyl flooring. The management was very responsive to our call that a "clean dryer vent" light came on-(NOT the clean lint filter light). It turned out not to be an issue and we were able to use the dryer. We did call ahead to ask if the Keurig was still available to use in the lobby because of Covid rules. We were told yes, it was! So we took along our own keurig cups to use. But sadly, we were misinformed and there was no Keurig in the lobby area. Overall, it was a great place to stay!- Reviewed On: 4/11/2021

Beds were comfy and linens very nice. It was a great experience.- Reviewed On: 10/7/2019

Great place
Condo was clean and perfect for a little getaway for us. Kitchen cookware and utensils could be a little better, but other than that, the place was great. (You should still be able to make do with what is there if you’re planning on cooking.) Close to elevator but still very quiet. Nice to hear the river at night from the bedroom.- Reviewed On: 9/3/2019

Wonderful!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this somewhat last minute and I was concerned it was going to be too small for our family of 4, with 2 young boys. It was perfect! Comfortable beds, including the queen pullout sofa. We arrived during the ‘snow bomb cyclone’ and were happily greeted by the Summit County Moutain Retreats outstanding staff, the unit clean and were gratefully able to check in a couple hours early. Comfortable decor, kitchen, and bathrooms. It’s truly a ski in/out. We enjoyed all the amenities and really loved the steam room. My only pick is hot tub wasn’t hot and there was a about a thimble of watered down laundry detergent and elevator is SLOW as other guests reported. There were a few candy wrappers on the floor of the built in cabinet wine holder and a soap wrapper in bath tub. We would stay here again though, enthusiastically,- Reviewed On: 3/21/2019

Keystone Getaway!
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lone Eagle 3017 was a great condo for us! The unit was extremely clean, tons of towels, comfy bed, everything you could need to cook and a great view. We pack light - so having a washer/ dryer was key. The complex was super quiet - which we loved. Our only issues were minor - the lighting is not great - I'd like a better lamp to read in bed - just needs a brighter bulb. There were about 5 hangers and little drawer space. Next time I'll buy hangers at WalMart! The window nearest the head of the bed did not open. And although the unit was sparkling - the jet tub was not clean. It probably does not get much use - it appeared clean but when I turned on the jets - lots of gunk came out. Eww. These were not major issues, but could so easily be corrected. We will request this unit again. Perhaps we picked the best week - Labor Day week - by Tuesday, the complex seemed deserted. There were never more than 8 - 10 cars in the parking garage. We loved that. The location is outstanding - walk to the gondola, walk to River Run Village, walk to the biking path. Also a short easy drive to Copper, Breckenridge, etc. Great value. We NEVER saw any management or property employees. In fact - we never saw any other guests! However, I received many text & email communications. If I had needed to contact management for any reason - there were multiple ways to reach out. Overall - an outstanding property.- Reviewed On: 9/11/2018

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit exceeded expectations. The check in process and check out process were excellent. The only thing that needed improvement was the bed. I have seen past reviews also mentioned the bed and I would have to agree. There were a few maintenance issues that needed work for example, light trims missing on the Kithchen ceiling and the door to the deck is quite hard to close, but overall a great condo for the price.- Reviewed On: 8/21/2018

Amazing!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I don't think there is a better place to stay on Keystone! Lone Eagle is the best location to stay on the mountain and is a true ski-in/ski-out. I had no complaints about this unit's maintenance and it's ski locker was literally right next to the exit onto the mountain. We didn't cook, but having a full kitchen was nice. Walking 20 ft from the locker room to the slope and having the ability to stop by for snacks and restroom breaks was great. We plan on coming back next year!- Reviewed On: 2/12/2018

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo! It was nicely furnished. The king bed was comfortable and my kids said the fold-out couch was much more comfortable than traditional fold outs. Kitchen had all tools/cooking supplies we needed. The best part was the location...truly a ski-in/out. We own vacation rentals and my only suggestion would be to update the thermostat to a digital one which is an easy fix. We couldn’t tell the actual temp in the unit and it felt very hot despite being set at 60. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it!- Reviewed On: 12/26/2017

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying in a ski-in ski-out was on my bucket list. This place did not disappoint. Located at the base of River Run, I could ski up to the back door and put my equipment in the locker room. The lockers have boot/glove warmers in them to dry your equipment over night or during a quick lunch break. The indoor garage is heated which made unloading the car an easy chore. The decor an aesthetics of the entire building are beautiful and what I would expect from an upscale ski condo.I will not hesitate to stay here again.- Reviewed On: 12/8/2017

The gondolas and slopes make up your backyard. And Keystone Village is just as close. The property was so quiet and the drive up felt so special. It really is a place to get away to. We truly enjoyed our time in this place.- Reviewed On: 5/23/2017

When they say slopeside they mean it! Just a quick walk to the back of the building and you're right there by the gondolas and a quick walk into Keystone Village. This is definitely a place to go if you want to get away. It's quiet and beautiful. The place itself was amazing. Separate tub, great balcony, full kitchen, and washer/dryer for your convenience. We will definitely be coming back again!- Reviewed On: 5/7/2017

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very clean and well appointed unit. No signs of marijuana usage or damage in the unit which was a huge concern for me given that we had children with us. Would recommend for families. Staff advised on check-in that the building is "non-smoking" however on one day the hallway leading to the unit had a strong odor of marijuana in it. So be advised that any potential renters should keep in mind the legalities in Colorado.- Reviewed On: 10/11/2016

Great Condo & Very Affordable!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I chose to go to the Keystone during "mud season", and we are so glad we did! We don't like huge crowds, so we were happy to find that the condos were very quiet and peaceful. We got a great deal on the unit because of the time of year - so that was definitely a plus. We plan on booking at this condo again for our next trip to Colorado!Pros: Great, quiet location. Fantastic views. Comfortable bed. Very private. Clean. Lots of towels. 2 shower heads in master bath. Liked the humidifiers in the room (came in handy for us being from Houston). Easy check-in/check-out process. Underground parking. Cons: Washer was kind of hard to use (door was very difficult to lock). One of the faucets on the bathtub was broken. Pillows on the bed were kind of flat. However, there was nothing negative enough to stop us from visiting again!- Reviewed On: 5/13/2016

More than Great
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were there for my son wedding. The condo was extraordinary, especially for the price, perfect for our needs. The two bath rooms made it exceptional. Very close to the gondola and didn't have to walk far. The facilities were adequate for our needs-Drank coffee provided by the condo downstairs/outside with my feet up on the firepit, then jumped in the pool & hot-tub & finished with a workout at the gym. Ate breakfast in the condo but ate out for the evening. The property management staff was exceptional to deal with, I give them a 10 star rating. We enjoyed it so much that we'd like to make this a yearly family reunion spot. My daughter & BF caught the shuttle and went biking around the lake, wanted to go kayaking the next day but wouldn't have been back by 5, in time for the rehearsal dinner at the local pub. My son hiked to the top of the mountain, then all the ushers went golfing,& topping it off with a swim and refreshments by the bigger pool @ the Timbers. Everyone had a great time. The DJ said, "She'd had never done such a fun wedding. The view from the top resort was a panoramic view of mt tops and was the perfect back-drop for the wedding pictures. The Resort (at the top of the mountain)was exceptional and couldn't do enough to please. Great time!- Reviewed On: 7/14/2014

Summer 2014
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 3017 during the week of July 4 and loved the unit. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped for our needs. While the bathrooms, linens, bath towels, kitchen and furniture were very clean, we found the floors, especially the carpet, dirty. Our only recommendation for improvement would be that the carpets be cleaned and the floors mopped in addition to being vaccumed and swept. We loved our stay and we loved the unit, especially the convenience of two bathrooms for two people!- Reviewed On: 7/8/2014

One of the best Spring Break vacations ever!!!!
Our family has been extremely spoiled by our stay at this property. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. We had several friends visit us during our stay and everyone was impressed with the convenience and cleanliness of the condo. They all asked how we were able to find it. We can't wait to book it for Spring Break next year. Thank you for a great vacation!!!!- Reviewed On: 3/29/2014

Fantastic Location! Great Condo!
We (four adults) stayed here in late January 2014 for four nights and had a fantastic experience. This is a wonderful condo and is absolutely the BEST ski-in/out location I have ever seen! It is literally less than 10 steps from the ski locker room to the slopes! I've stayed in several ski-in/out properties at various ski resorts throughout Colorado and have never experienced a location this convenient to the slopes. The condo itself was very nice, well appointed, and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for four adults and having two full bathrooms was very convenient. The sleeper sofa was not overly comfortable, but that's to be expected with a sleeper sofa. The Lone Eagle condo provides many unexpected benefits such as luggage carts, coffee/tea bar, outdoor fire pit, steam room, and more. The management company was very professional and friendly, and provided everything we needed during our stay. When we arrived, there were no humidifiers in the condo, but after a quick call to the management company, two humidifiers were provided before lunch the next day. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit and the Lone Eagle condo to anyone staying at Keystone.- Reviewed On: 2/5/2014
