Beware of the management company (Summit County Mountain Retreats). They sent me a text 2 days before my trip telling me the elevator is out of order. I immediately requested cancellation and they told me I was inside the 14 day window for any refund. They said the elevator is an amenity and they don't guaranty any amenities. I would think an elevator in a ski condo would be more than just an amenity as I had to bring a lot of stuff up 3 flights of stairs. I could have easily booked another place with a working elevator last minute but they would not budge. It was just me and my 6 year old so it made the trip a ton of work. They eventually said they would give me a 10% refund for the inconvenience which amounted to $23 on a $500+ stay because of all the fees, etc. The refund was on the nightly rent only. The manager I spoke with was not pleasant or understanding.They simply said that this was their policy with a "suck it up" attitude. Needless to say, I will not rent from this management company again.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We notified this guest the moment we had any info on on this elevator being out of service and went outside our rental agreement to offer a refund based upon the signed and agreed upon rental agreement.

The condo was very nice and in a great location. The only downside was the elevator has been out for sometime and the condo is on the 3rd floor. That might not sound bad but when you have to make multiple trips to carry your luggage, kids luggage and groceries it can become a lot of work.

We had a great stay the location was the high point of our stay. It was a 5 minute ski boot walk. The only thing I would say is that the unit is in need of new carpet, which I am guessing the owners and management company are aware of. It is clean there are just some worn spots. Overall a great property and experience.

The property was as described and the check-in/check-out processes were very easy. We were there in the off season so there were very few people. It was quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for.

We stayed in a unit at River Run Village. It was the perfect location for us to walk to the Gondola and get on the slopes as soon as they opened. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and shopping in the village. The rental company was very detail oriented in all communications. Easy check in process. Would definitely stay again!

Overall satisfied. Location was excellent, very near gondola. Got several notices from mgmt welcoming us, offering help, etc. Our rental was clean, needed carpet replaced, but bed comfy, comforter clean, water hot, kitchen appliances nice. Wifi was good. Priced right. We'd return.

Valid option without any doubt. The only flaw I can quote is that the table shown in the pictures was not there. Having any meal on a stool on the counter might be difficult.The people from Summit County Mountain Retreats strive to offer an excellent service. Love staying in Keystone’s River Run Village every July for the Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival. This was my friend’s and my first time staying in Arapahoe Lodge and we enjoyed it and the location cannot be beat regarding proximity to the festival. This unit was great with a modern vibe.

The place was a little dusty in places, but was otherwise clean. It was a comfortable place to stay. Be sure to report any damage upon arrival, there were quite a few minor things that were pre-existing. I walked back to the river and saw 2 moose in the woods. Be sure to eat a crepe in the village.

Great location, nice pool/hot tubs, comfortable bed, easy check in. This place is perfect for a couple. The couch is very uncomfortable.

The condo was in a great location. The amenities were awesome, as was proximity to the gondola! Beware the couch pullout bed is completely destroyed. If you plan on sleeping more than two bring an air mattress or sleeping bag. Otherwise the furniture is great. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

stayed for the weekend. enjoyed the hot tub and restaurants and pubs in the area.

Just one point of feedback. The bed is not very comfortable and having more additional blankets on hand would be nice. Over all the place was great and we enjoyed out time there.

Terrific place for my stay. Well appointed and in a quiet building. One tip would be, make sure you check the status of the restaurants in the base if you are staying there in shoulder season. They were all closed during my stay. Not a knock on the unit at all. Just a tip. ;)

Love using summit county mountain retreats. The staff is always up on everything. Condo was quiet and nice. Only thing is the bed is slightly hard. The couch could be replaced and the ceiling fans are covered deeply in dust. Otherwise it was a nice clean place to stay.

We only stayed a couple of nights, but this was a beautful cozy place for our little family. The bed if comfortable. The kids loved sleeping on the couch and watching movies. Lovely decorations, and anything you could need. The Lodge is also amazing. We used the laundry and went home with clean clothes. One less thing to do after a trip. The pool is fantastic and the shops and food are all steps away. We will definitely be back!

Cute spacious and serene little condo. I felt like vaulted ceilings made it feel much larger than it really was. There was a small view of the mountains which was nice and the actual spot was directed away from the main village so you did not get the refractory noise from the crowds. We have stayed in a couple different spots in the village and this one was my fav so far :)

The condo was quite lovely with nice appointments. It had a comfortable bed and the space was attractive and pleasing. I was mostly out at a conference, but I enjoyed my stay here. The furnishings and kitchen were nice and the instructions were clear. It was a tad bit on the warm side in the summer, and the shower was a bit weak, but other than that, the place had upscale aspects that made it very pleasant to stay. Even though it looks out on a courtyard, it was not loud and I slept well.

Loved the layout! The doors that open to the patio brought in fresh air. Patio down below was a bit noisy, but it didn't last late into the evening. Humidifier was not working, I called the rental office and they quickly replaced it. Great stay

Property in good condition overall, but the bathroom fan is very noisy and there were two outlets with issues (don't work properly) on the end of the kitchen counter and next to the dining table. For two of us who cook in, it was spacious and comfortable, would have been tight with four. I would stay there again, location is great - short walk to lifts, Starbucks, and the grocery.

Experience was great in this condo. Furniture and bedding was clean and all common areas were well kept. Garage and ski storage were really convenient. Accessibility to mountain was perfect! Only complaints are that the water seemed a little dirty...when we filled the tub it was green-ish looking and some dishes/pans did not seem 100% clean.

We had a great time, even though we wished the snow had come a little sooner! Very nice, cozy place - perfect for a long weekend with the kids. Location was ideal with the slopes, restaurants and shopping all within a very short walk. Everything was clean and as described - we thought the bed was very comfortable and the kids said the pull-out was also. Thanks, we can't wait to visit Keystone again soon!

My fiance and I stayed at this apartment the first week of October 2016. We enjoyed our stay with minimal issues. Note: this was the off-season, and the village/surrounding area was quite deserted. We also did not try to take advantage of any of the amenities (pool, hot tub, rec. area, etc.) on the property, so this review excludes those things.

The Pros:
Great location for our purposes.
Nice heated parking garage.
Nice, (mostly) clean furniture and decor.
Close to HWY 6.
Very affordable.
The Cons:
The only issue we had with cleanliness were several long, dark hairs on the bed (I have short, light hair).
The toaster didn't work.
The unit has an Xfinity box, so we assumed there would be some kind of cable TV, but we couldn't get them to work (we didn't try very hard either, just not super user friendly).

All in all, a nice place to stay, at least in the off season.

We had a great visit in Keystone, CO. We had driven from SLC with two little kids and were greatful everything was close by. We are hoping to plan a trip to return next summer so we can take advantage of the activities in the area.

Nice place. Clean. Pretty good location. It was a 4-5 minute walk to the gondola (in ski boots). I don't think there are many closer locations in Keystone. Hot tub was great at the end of the day.
Directions to the place were very good and key pickup was easy.
The bed was a little small (full size?). And the mattress was uncomfortable.

Walk to the gondola, bars, restaurants, rental shops was the main reason we choose this condo. Queen Bed could use an update as it dipped in the center and was hard to get comfortable. Overall great place and would stay again.

Enjoyed our time at the Arapahoe Lodge. Convenient, clean, just what we needed for our first ski trip of the year! Room looks just like the photo. Very comfortable and easy to get to. Really appreciated having a heated garage for the car!

The check in process was easy and fairly straightforward. The condo was beautiful and warm. It was also very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. We liked the ski locker accessibility along with the heated parking garage. We explored the pool and hot tub area but our kids were too afraid to be cold getting out of the water. We had a blast and will be returning for more playtime in the future.
