River West Condos #714

Our group really enjoyed the location on the river being so close to Bluebird Market and other Silverthorne staples. The condo itself was clean, had updated amentities, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely go back!

The unit was very very hot temperature-wise! We turned down the heat and it was still hot, so we opened up windows and doors.
Both shower heads make a high pitched squealing noise when on.
Otherwise, a nice place to stay. Being right by the river was great!

All in all a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, easy access to highway, restaurants and grocery close by. Only negatives are temp was 80degrees no matter the thermostat setting (I assume because of the heated floors) and master king was uncomfortable.

Thank you for your feedback! The property has radiant heat which takes time to reflect adjustments on the thermostat. To speed up this process, we suggest cracking a window or utilizing the box fans we provide in the closets!

The location on the river is perfect. It is central to many ski resorts which was great for mountain hoping. The unit was super clean and the beds were comfortable. It does get warm in the unit but in winter you can just open a window. Summer would be a tough one without air. Overall would stay here again!

We loved our stay at River West. The condo is well equipped, however
there was no frying pan. We had a problem to get the TV working, but we finally resolved the problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back. This was our second time at River West.

The view and patio were the best for this unit. Very warm in the bedroom no airflow at night. Bedrooms too close together. Bathroom rugs were dirty... not sure unit was cleaned a used bar of soap under the counter in master bath. No window coverings in living room kitchen area. Won’t rent this unit again. A $15 fee for early check-in.

Overall, we liked the apartment and had a great time. I did have some minor issues that I think are worth mentioning. When we checked in, we were given a door code. However, the keypad lock was broken and we were not able to get in using the check in instructions. I texted the number that I was given but did not get a response. I ended up calling and getting in touch with someone and we eventually we able to get in using keys from the lockbox. However, it was really not a good way to start our experience. If you are going to provide an access code to get into the property, you HAVE to make sure that it works. I can't imagine that this was a new issue, someone must have been aware of it. And please answer texts when you instruct people to text you if you need anything. I was also disappointed with the soap and shampoo that were provided. They were tiny amounts and were not effective at all, we ended up going to buy replacements. Also, the kitchen did not have any "kitchen staples" at all, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. It is pretty standard to have a few of those items stocked so that guests can use the kitchen without having to buy (and then leave behind) items like this. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay but I do think that a little more focus on these little aspects of the guest experience would improve things.

Fantastic stay Silverthorn. We really enjoyed the condo. Having the Blue River in our backyard was amazing. The condo is modern and comfortable. It is located very near many good restaurants and walking/biking paths. We will be back.

I think the property itself is beautiful. Great view of the river. I just think there wasn't a lot of care taken on some details that would really help elevate a customer experience. First and foremost, please put some curtains on those big windows in the living room and kitchen! There's absolutely no privacy and people hike that trail right outside. I didn't feel super comfortable and didn't want to leave visible valuables out there. That alarm situation right outside the door was going off at 2 am and I didn't know there was a button to push to turn it off because it's marked outside on that door. I figured it was some security alarm or something as I laid awake the whole time, and I lost half a night's sleep to that thing and it kind of ruined an entire day skiing. I texted property management but they responded like 7 hours later about it. Simple things like there's no butter knives, no salt for simple seasonings when cooking. The shower in the master has a weird ringing noise when it's on. No sponge for the sink. There's WAY too much furniture in the living room to where it's hard to even walk around. Ditch the weird extra red couch and trim down the lounge seating. I wouldn't stay here again overall unfortunately.

Loved the location, cleanliness, amenities, layout, back deck and daytime relaxation. However, the fire alarm in the closet outside the door kept beeping and we could hear it in the condo. This (and the loud neighbors upstairs) made it almost impossible to sleep at night.

We loved staying in this first floor condo, especially sitting out on the porch and watching/listening to the river. The location was excellent - very centrally located. It was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed.
Two suggestions: 1) loved the lotion and soap provided. The soap made a mess on the counter though, so maybe a soap dish or something to put the soap on after using it.
2) outside of the front door is a maintenance room for the sprinkler system...a beeping sound was continually going off even after calling management about it. I had read about this in other reviews but figured they had fixed the issue. It didn’t bother us at night as we had a fan going but when we were there during the day it was a tad annoying.
Overall we loved our stay at this condo and would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed here with my three kids (16, 18, 21). We loved it. Great location - close to Breck, Keystone, Copper, and Vail. River view is perfect. Washer and dryer made ski gear easy to manage. Covered parking is a plus in winter. Not a huge place, but plenty of room for four.

The property is very nice & a great location. The only complaints are that the sprinkler closet directly across from the front door had an alarm beeping the length of the stay & no one could turn it off. Also, if there's any public parking on the property, it's not clearly marked. We had two vehicles & were unsure where to park the second vehicle since there was only one carport spot allotted to each condo.

Only complaints were the alarm in utility room at front door and the unit was very warm, despite thermostat adjustment and opening windows. The place was 79 degrees when we arrived and remained uncomfortably warm the rest of the stay

We had a wonderful 20 year anniversary in this condo. Bed was comfy, kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to cook with. The river in the back was so nice to listen to on a daily basis.

Awesome location and a beautiful property with outstanding access to the Blue River! Located close to Cutthroat Anglers and the wonderful Red Buffalo Coffee shop and great pastry shop and Sauce on the Blue restaurant. Easy drive to Lake Dillon and Frisco as well as downstream locations for a great fly fishing experience. Nothing better for a Father-Son getaway. Finding any “flaws” limited to need for blinds on windows for windows and please fix the central alarm system outside of the condo (had to push the “acknowledge” button four times due to people triggering their smoke alarm; twice in middle of the night) Ranks near the top of many places I’ve stayed and I don’t hesitate to give it a 10/10! AWESOME PROPERTY!!!

There was a loud beeping noise coming from the fire alarm security room. The noise made it impossible to enjoy the room. Called everyday to have the noise problem taken care of. Everyday around mid morning the noise would start. Fortunately the noise stopped in the late afternoon.

This condo is wonderful. Fresh and new with lots of ambiance. Beds are comfy, unit was clean and had the amenities you’d need for a weekend stay or longer. Plenty of closet space/drawer space in master bedroom/bathroom. Heated floors were a bonus. Our only complaint was that the unit was very warm, even with heat turned low, but that seems to be the case with most multi-unit buildings. Also, nice that this is a ground level unit (no stairs to climb!) with a carport. Lastly, the river view and sounds are amazing! Would definitely stay here again!
