Young the Giant formed in Irvine, California in 2004 and is led by vocalist Sameer Gadhia, with Jacob Tilley, Eric Cannata, Payam Doostzadeh, and Francois Comtois rounding out the band. After signing with Roadrunner Records in 2009, they released their debut album in 2010, with early hits like “My Body,” “Cough Syrup,” and “Apartment” charting on the U.S. Alternative Songs chart.
